He was fun and personable as well as knowledgeable about all aspects of our remodel. We removed a support wall and added a beam so we could open up our small, inefficient kitchen, reworked plumbing, electrical & lighting, all new cabinets, tile flooring, and added a huge, asymetrical island. Dave is dependable and stayed with the job until every detail was done to our satisfaction. The best part was that we could be hands on as much as we wanted. When we ran into a snag (as can happen when design elements on paper meet reality) Dave was creative in presenting solutions so we got what we wanted - our perfect kitchen and great room. I've attached a few before and after pics, but they can't do justice to all the care and detail that went into it. We will definitely be calling when we are ready for our next project! The most recent job was to add shiplap to all my exterior facing walls. I own a 3 year old manufactured home that had a drywall cracking issue that had been repaired repeatedly but kept coming back. There was a small crack down the marriage line as well as the bedroom ceiling. This seemed to be a good idea! They put up a faux beam in the living room, added a beadboard ceiling in the bedroom as well as the shiplap to the walls. The detail work was excellent! It came out sooo incredibly beautiful! Because my finances were so tight, I decided to do the painting myself. David threw in 10 hours of free painting! I could not be happier with the results!!! At first he seemed knowledgeable and friendly, but later he started to be sloppy. His workers were careless and got a lot of paint spilled on the deck because they did not use a drop cloth. Cans of partially used paint were strewn across the yard. When patching stucco, the worker laid nice, smooth stucco when I was watching him. As soon as I went inside however, he started to be sloppy by just smearing cement crudely on the wall, and even dumping leftover cement and other debris down a storm drain, resulting in a clog. When I got the bill, I had been charged several hundred dollars for materials that were unrelated to the project.
