We have done remodeling projects with other companies in Bakersfield, but I can say our experience with Sam and Ozzie was truly amazing. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship really shows. They redesigned the layout and now we have a perfectly functional and modern kitchen. Every detail was discussed in the design phase and every detail was well communicated. > If you're looking for a licensed and insured design and build company in Bakersfield,I highly recommend Code. We couldn't be happier with the end result. **★★★★★ — Azi Sia, Feb. 2026** > Sam & Ozzie from Code completely redesigned our home’s layout, removing and relocating multiple load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls to create a beautiful modern open-concept design. The transformation is incredible — our once closed-off floor plan is now a bright, functional, and spacious living area customized with all the details we envisioned. > > Their expertise in home remodeling, structural wall modifications, and interior design truly shows in the quality of their work. From planning to execution, they were professional, detail-oriented, and always went above and beyond to make the entire renovation experience smooth and enjoyable. > > We are extremely happy with the results and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled remodeling contractor who delivers exceptional craftsmanship and modern design. **★★★★★ — HU-421681745, Nov. 2025** > We are absolutely in love with our newly remodeled home. Code Construction truly is amazing. If you need a contractor, please contact them. Trustworthy, easy to communicate, and hard working! **★★★★★ — HU-356968383, May 2025** > We couldn’t be happier with Code Construction! After months of frustration with our previous contractor—who hadn’t pulled permits or done any work—Sam and the team stepped in and took complete ownership of our project. They swiftly produced comprehensive structural plans, navigated the permitting process without a hitch, and presented us with thoughtful design options and detailed drawings before breaking ground. The entire build went smoothly, with no surprises or delays, and we absolutely love our refreshed home. Thank you, Sam & Ozzie! **★★★★★ — Stacy Douglas, April 2024** > This project was first and foremost about safety and security for my aging mother...I never expected it to come out as gorgeous as it did. > As caregivers for my parents, safety is a big concern for us. When my mom moved in with us, we needed to make some accommodations to allow her be as independent as possible, while providing her with the comfort of knowing she would be safe. Watching my father fight Parkinson's Disease, we know all too well the dangers of falling. Unfortunately, her bathroom wasn't accessible for her most basic needs. > > We contacted Code Construction and Sam and Ozzie did a FANTASTIC job turning our tiny, odd little bathroom into a sparkling, spacious, accessible bathroom (honestly - we are all jealous of grandma's new bathroom!). This \*was\* our first rodeo with remodeling. Sam and Ozzie did a great job of walking us through the process and helping us to understand all the ins and outs. The crew was quick and courteous, and Ozzie's design aesthetic was impeccable. Not only that, they took the time to talk with my mom, answer her questions as well as mine. Ozzie made an otherwise stressful project run very smoothly, and Sam is a consummate professional and fun to work with. I recommend Code Construction hands down. They did amazing, quick work...and on budget. Thank you! **★★★★★ — Ariobarzan Kh, March 2024** > I am incredibly impressed with Code Construction’s dedication to excellence. From their meticulous attention to detail to their use of technology to match colors seamlessly with our existing furniture, cabinet and flooring, every aspect of the painting process exceeded our expectations. Their commitment to cleanliness and finishing the job ahead of schedule showcases their professionalism. The exceptional service provided by Code Construction is complemented by their fair and competitive pricing. Despite delivering outstanding results, they remained mindful of our budget, ensuring that the overall experience was not only exceptional in quality but also in value. I wholeheartedly recommend them for their commitment to excellence without compromising on affordability. **★★★★★ — Mitra Hovareshti, Feb. 2024** > I highly recommend Code Construction company to anybody looking for great quality services with a trusted construction/ re-modeling company. > > They went above and beyond our expectations and made our remodeling and painting project stress free. From introduction to completion we found them to have extensive knowledge of the process with an amazing attention to detail. They listen to your need carefully, guide you and do what is your dream very clean and on time with reasonable price. > > Having worked with construction companies before, I think Code Construction has the BEST hands down. I look forward to working with you and your team again in the future. **★★★★★ — HU-860348971, Oct. 2022** > I can't say enough good things about Code! Sam & Ozzie have been so amazing with our remodel. They have amazing attention to detail. We did a full master bathroom remodel, and the results are exactly what I wanted. Communication was never an issue they were prompt to answer my every question. The design was exactly what I wanted it to be, and the 3D was exactly what it turned out to be. They completed my bathroom in 3 weeks! I would never work with anyone else from now on. **★★★★★ — Sacha, July 2022** > We had a few quotes given for our full home remodel, but Code was by far the easiest to work with. They were always available to assist us with design and choosing materials. Both Ozzie and Sam went above and beyond to help with every step of our remodel. They designed our home exactly according to our taste with great attention to detail. Everything was completed sooner than expected and we love our new home. I have and will recommend them to my friends and family. **★★★★★ — Alice Hoftman, Jan. 2022** > We are extremely happy with Code. Sam was responsive and on time with every phase of the project. There were no surprises in the renovation process or costs. They renovated our kitchen and master bathroom which totally changed our home. They helped us find the design we liked as we didn't know what would look good in our space and confirmed every detail before construction started. I can't stress how happy we are with our new kitchen and bath! ## Selected projects - [Appaloosa](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/appaloosa-pj-vj~7785600) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 96 - [Montalvo Full house remodel Project](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/montalvo-full-house-remodel-project-pj-vj~7784424) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 27 - [Telluride Ct.](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/telluride-ct-pj-vj~7480574) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 12 - [Kitchen Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/kitchen-remodel-pj-vj~7206893) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 1 - [Stockdale Country Club](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/stockdale-country-club-pj-vj~7206692) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 13 - [Redwood Classics](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/redwood-classics-pj-vj~7094956) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Martinsville Curb-less Shower and Bathroom Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/martinsville-curb-less-shower-and-bathroom-remodel-pj-vj~7073467) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 15 - [Home Office](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/home-office-pj-vj~7037984) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 4 - [West Mister](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/west-mister-pj-vj~6992357) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 4 - [Invermay](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/invermay-pj-vj~6992350) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 4 - Description: Beautiful Transformation of Master Bathroom by Code Construction. - [Seven Oaks Bathroom Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/seven-oaks-bathroom-remodel-pj-vj~6980107) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 6 - [Ceder Creek](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/ceder-creek-pj-vj~6904499) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 11 - [Entertainment Center with wooden accent](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/entertainment-center-with-wooden-accent-pj-vj~6833827) - Location: Bakersfield, CA - Photos: 2 [See all 13 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/general-contractors/code-construction-pfvwus-pf~1548029353) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
