We began as a small family business in 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. As a real estate investment fund for local and international investors specializing in renovating single-family homes. Then we slowly evolved into a kitchen and bath remodeling company. Chicago Constructions specializes in drywall, flooring, tile, painting, and installation.

Our pricing is broken into material costs and labor expenses separately in order for you to know exactly how much you are paying for each item. Transparency being our most important value, customers will have a full account of every expenditure and will receive a copy of all receipts at the completion of each project.

Over the years we have updated and remodeled many homes. But we still make sure to treat the space like it’s our very own. We pride ourselves on respecting your space and maintaining the integrity of your home. It is our goal to provide excellent customer service and availability as soon as you are ready to begin.

Although he had to put a lot more hours that initially anticipated but he owned the job and got it done with no complaints or changing his initial quote. His communication was also top notch and he kept me informed during the process of the work. In my experience he's been one of the very few people in this field that I can confidently recommend to others for their projects.

> We looked for a contractor for quite some time. We clicked with IIan immediately. IIan took care to review the project, visiting with us twice before we hired him. No nonsense, no drama, no Taj Mahal recommendations, just sensible pros delivering quality work at a fair price. The Chicago Constructions team checked in with us often to confirm details, even those that others might have deemed small, but it all added up to make our new kitchen even more than we hoped. And that’s saying something. I had drawn the kitchen at least 100 times and saved for years to pay for it. In other words, I had high expectations, maybe higher than our budget would allow, but Alberto, Lorenzo, and Miquel, who were on site most often, exceeded them daily. We found ourselves missing them once the project was done. Great work, responsible, responsive, and genuinely nice crew. Good guys all around. Heck, they were even nice to our dog. We would hire them again.

Had a new shower installed and, having no prior experience of my own, Ilan guided me through it keeping that in mind as well as the budget. I found myself in an aisle in Home Depot being introduced to all the wonderful wall and shower tiles I dreamed of!  This was fun as well as educational!  The installer was fantastic and spent long hours making it perfect. In 4 1/2 days I had a new shower and knew it was extremely well done. No shortcuts, good communication, quality work with high end products.

> Ilan and his team have completed 2 projects for me.  The first was Oct 2021: I was in a horrible place after my new construction business flooded and drywall, plumbing, flooring and cabinetry had to be removed due to city sewer backup.  After working with my landlords, insurance, and the building HOA, I was still on the hook for a significant amount for repairs.  Ilan met me the day after I called and got his team started on the project almost immediately.  His guys are professional, efficient, and hardworking.  You cannot go wrong with this team.  I am so grateful with how they helped me during this difficult period.  And that I was able to get back to business!  I will definitely use them again should the need arise.
> The 2nd project was for my home, summer 2022.  His team came and repaired our etched and detailed glass shower door for a fraction of the price a glass door store quoted me.  Our railing had come off and we were told we would have to replace the entire glass door for a substandard quality and a significant cost and that the railing could not be fixed.  Ilan's team came and fixed the railing within a few hours.  The also made repairs throughout my home, including but not limited to: concrete stairs sealing, painting, re-sealing the shower and replacing fixtures.  I would hire him again in a heartbeat.  He is reliable, transparent, and easy to get a hold of.  I have had horrible experiences working with contractors, so his team is like a breath of fresh air.  They will do the work until it is complete and done to your satisfaction.
