Your home should feel like you — layered over time, grounded in honest materials, and reflective of the life unfolding within it. At Rediger Design, we make that happen without the process feeling like a second job.

We're a full-service residential interior design studio serving the Greater Portland metro and Greater Seattle area, including Bellevue and Redmond. From initial concept through final installation, we manage the contractors, the timelines, the procurement, and every decision along the way — so you can focus on the result, not the process.
Our work has been featured in Forbes, Homes & Gardens, House Digest, and The Spruce.

**★★★★★ — Nancy Spohn, March 2026**

> I reached out to Brittany to help me arrange my living room to accommodate more people for entertaining guests. I shared with her that I had tried multiple arrangements of furniture and it always felt awkward and uninviting. I was trying to arrange pieces from 40 years of accumulation into a small, odd shaped room, and needed fresh eyes and ideas. With her expertise in space planning, and composition, she helped me utilize some of my existing furniture and design a floorplan that would fit our everyday activity as well as open the space for guests to join us.
> I am amazed at how well she listened to my needs and gently guided me into a space that feels like home. She thoughtfully curated my interests and feelings into our living room. Her artistic eye didn’t just add objects to fill a space, she added warmth, and light, and softened the high contrasts in the room.
> I am so pleased with the results. My spirits are lifted every time I walk into the room.
> I would highly recommend Brittany and Rediger Design to help design your next project.

**★★★★★ — Helena Victor, March 2026**

> Working with Brittany has been such a great experience. She’s super patient, accommodating, and collaborative. I never felt pressured to move faster or make big purchasing decisions I wasn’t in love with, and I think I was a particularly slow and difficult client.

> Beyond having a fantastic eye, she really helped me identify my personal style, and then went way beyond mood boarding to show me what things would look like in the space. She turned my super generic living and dining room into authentic reflections of my personality, and I am so so happy with the result. I cannot recommend her enough!

  - Description: This kitchen blends transitional design with Spanish and Craftsman influences, balancing traditional forms with a warm, modern sensibility. Sage green cabinetry, terracotta floors, and unlacquered brass details create a layered, timeless feel, while handmade tile, open shelving, and an arched range hood add character and architectural interest. Designed to feel functional, lived-in, and enduring rather than trend-driven.

  - Description: A living room shaped by warmth, history, and connection. The living room began as a spatial puzzle: a room where the front door opens directly into the space, requiring a careful balance of symmetry and asymmetry. One of the primary goals was to establish a sense of entry without enclosing the room. A sectional was used to gently define the living area, creating separation while allowing the seating to face both the fireplace—the natural focal point—and the front garden beyond the windows. Heirl…

  - Description: Garden dining designed for everyday meals and summer gatherings under the open sky. This outdoor dining patio was envisioned as a garden-inspired retreat in Portland — a space where natural textures and layered details make every meal feel special. Designed for flexibility, the oak table and benches seat up to eight for summer gatherings, yet still feel intimate for everyday use. Belgian quick-dry cushions and an outdoor rug add comfort and durability, while woven pendants, greenery, and sculptu…

  - Description: A tucked-away TV lounge designed for comfort, connection, and everyday ease. Created as an alternative to the home’s formal living area, this intimate lounge was designed for cozy evenings watching TV while keeping the adjacent dining room feeling elevated. Painted in Benjamin Moore’s Early Sunset, a hue inspired by the desert golden hour, the space balances warmth with refinement. A deep sofa fits snugly wall-to-wall, paired with a walnut veneer coffee table and tucked-away ottomans that double…

  - Description: This garage started as a blank canvas, already finished with knotty pine plank walls and herringbone black tile floors. The goal was to transform it into a four-seasons flex space that could host friends, spill outdoors in summer, and double as a low-profile home gym. The lounge area was designed to feel like a living room first, anchored by a sectional, lightweight coffee table, and layered textures that make the space welcoming. Storage cabinets keep the visual clutter at bay, hiding away elec…
