**★★★★★ — Amy Standard, April 2023**

> My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our house plans designed by MossCreek. The process we went through to create plans for our dream home really sets MossCreek apart from anyone else. John and Erwin were with us every step of the way and were wonderful to work with. What could have been a stressful and frustrating experience was actually very easy and enjoyable. The turnaround time for the finished product and the cost were quite reasonable. I highly recommend MossCreek to anyone looking for high quality plans they are sure to love.

**★★★★★ — Randy Susong, Dec. 2017**

> Wonderful floor plans, they are selling fast for my construction company, Moss Creekand Alan have been a pleasure to work with, we are already using them again!

**Comment from MossCreek:**

> That's great news Randy! It's so important for a "spec home" to move fast, and we're glad we've been able to help create positive results for your company. We enjoy working throughout the United States with builders such as you, but it's been especially nice working with a builder so close to home for us. Thanks!

**★★★★★ — Chris Cassels, Dec. 2017**

> Allen Halcomb and his team at Moss Creek are Rock Stars! They have been with us every step of the way in building their Bucktail design at Avalon in Waynesville, NC. They always answer the phone and have been more than helpful. In fact, they have gone way beyond the call of duty in assisting us customizing their design to fit our unique homesite \#36. Moss Creek is our favorite home designers here in Western North Carolina. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for that personal touch and attention you just can't find anywhere else in the market place.

**Comment from MossCreek:**

> Thank you Chris, and also a big thank you to Avalon for entrusting MossCreek with the design of this signature home for their development. We look forward to seeing the finished result, and it already is reflecting the amazing setting. Thanks for your kind words!

**★★★★★ — Marc and Rachel Nicholson, Aug. 2017**

> Moss Creek was able to help us with the design of our home. They were very professional and courteous. Look forward to working with them in the future.

**Comment from MossCreek:**

> Marc and Rachel: Thank you very much for your kind words. The photos of your house look very handsome. Best wishes on enjoying your new home!

> I was looking for a stock plan with outdoor living space and a loft to fit one of my clients lots as a vacation rental. I found almost exactly what I was looking for on MossCreeks website. They made the minor changes and had the plans emailed to me in no time! Excellent product and very reasonably priced. Saved my client and I lots of money and time! We love the house!

> Allen & the Moss Creek team worked with us from the very first 'inception' of our vision for a Rocky Mountain Lodge Home on Lake Chickamauga near Chattanooga. It was awesome to be on the receiving end of a very detailed and knowledgeable team to envision the demolition of an existing home and work with a steep, sloping site to create the home that we now will be enjoying for years to come. Allen and his team are very professional, smart and listened to our wishes and dreams from beginning to end - even putting up with my 'engineer's approach' to details and leading me to the correct feel of warmth and home that we have been able to achieve.
> Incredible job and I can't praise them enough for their responsiveness, professionalism and care throughout the entire process. Thank you very much!

**Comment from MossCreek:**

> On behalf of the whole MossCreek team I’d like to say thank you for your kind review. It was a pleasure working with you to create a one of a kind custom home. I remember when we first met at your site on the lake and imagined what type of house would best suit all the existing conditions. We spent the day discussing each room, reviewing photos, and sketching until we had a basic set of floor plans and elevations. It started with a dream and now you are moving in for Christmas!
>
> It is always a pleasure to listen to our clients, and helping them realize their goal of the perfect home located on the perfect site. We are thrilled that you are pleased with your legacy home. We so appreciate having had the opportunity to work with your family, as well as being able to welcome you into the family of MossCreek homes. All the best! Allen Halcomb, President, MossCreek. www.mosscreek.net

> My wife and I could not be more satisfied with our custom house plans produced by Mosscreek! However, I believe it was the quality of that journey and the process itself, of getting to that amazing final product, that really sets MossCreek apart from other companies. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend MossCreek to anyone who might be shopping around for an architect. Their products are amazing, their timeliness is impressive, their prices are fair, and their professionalism is impeccable. I can't begin say enough positive things about Allen Halcomb and John Wallace in particular at MossCreek. We absolutely enjoyed working with these two gentlemen. Allen and John are undoubtedly subject matter experts in their field but they are also thoughtful, patient, funny, and down-to-earth professionals which made for an overall great experience for us as customers. Designing your dream home can seem overwhelming and stressful at times but Allen and John somehow made it easy and fun!

**Comment from MossCreek:**

> Chad, Thank you for your kind review. We really enjoyed working with you and your family to design your new home. Its been exciting to see the photos as the project is being constructed and I am looking forward to our site visit in a couple of weeks. It's folks like you that make our job fun!

> We used MossCreek to design a legacy property in Idaho for our family. This home is a complex, 7000 sq.ft. build consistent with the rustic style of the mountain west. We worked with Allen Halcomb on this design from the beginning. He was excellent in helping us understand what we wanted and translating that into a design which addressed all our aspirations. From the beginning, he listened carefully to our likes and dislikes, and used them to draft plans for our review. He willingly listened to our thoughts about the plans as they matured and helped fine-tune them to the final product. He was a joy to work with and helped us realize a dream property. We would certainly recommend him and his firm to others who desire a quality design experience.

> MossCreek saved my love of building. Prior to 2009 I was VP of a mid-sized custom home construction company in Nashville. I had 6 superintendents, 12 projects valued in excess of $21 million working 60 hours a week.
>
> I bought a 10 acre tract and while I worked on cleaning it up and opening up the creek area for a mini state park I started looking into log homes and home styles that excited me. Looking though a Log Home magazine I saw a MossCreek ad (full page) with several really cool looking homes. The floor plans and the artist renderings were amazing. I was immediately revved up by the design. The Deer Valley plan just blew me away. I had never seen such cool architecture in a 2400 sq. ft. Home. I knew I had to work with this company.
>
> My wife and I decided to build a home for my daughter on 5 acres next to our home that we already owned and I was starting to get some interest in the land and possible customs and I knew it was time to gear up. I contacted MossCreek to help me modify a Roaring Fork plan. John Wallace worked with me on the design and it was a real pleasure. He made the modification quickly for a very fair price. I was hooked. We have completed 3 projects together at this point and I hope to do many more.
>
> MossCreek has helped me in more ways than I can tell you. They brought back my love of building.
>
> I actually dread it when the client says they have an architect or already have a plan.

**★★★★★ — Wodehouse, May 2015**

> Allen Halcomb, President of MossCreek, arrived in Vancouver with design paper in hand to visit and study our sloping waterfront property on Bowen Island, British Columbia. Allen is the consummate architect, artist, and businessman who is supported by a team of architectural professionals from Knoxville Tennessee. Together they created a custom rustic design for our family's vacation cabin, manipulating the many details to meet the demands of our steep slope, our view of Howe Sound, and our existing mature cedar trees. Patiently and painstakingly, Allen drew and re-drew house plan details until the square footage, site position, and design were just perfect for us!

**★★★★★ — kdf100, May 2015**

> Our company specializes in custom built, luxury homes throughout the foothills of Western North Carolina. It has been a pleasure to work with Moss Creek on several projects we have completed and homes we currently have under construction. The ready to purchase home plans are generally very close to our clients needs and desires, but in certain circumstances, our clients wish modify these plans slightly and Allen and his team accomplish these changes in a timely and cost effecient manner. Higgins Building Group, Inc. would highly recommend Moss Creek to homeowners or building contractors seeking a new home plan.

**★★★★★ — Scott Mulder, May 2015**

> I can not recommend the team at Moss Creek enough! The process was both exciting and professional. They are like the missing piece of a puzzle for a creative vision. Our work with them as designers for our new home started with a visit to their office where the creative process really sparks. They will ask you very thoughtful questions and start immediately drawing your spaces as bubbles on vellum, defining the space and layout around you. From there, layer upon layer of vellum are stacked on each other and the shape and form of your floor plan grow. An artists facad is drawn (again in front of you) and your dream house is right there before your eyes! We fully intend to frame ours. Within a few days they will email you much more defined drawings and work with you extremely closely to tweak it to your specifics. The amazing thing about the team is that their support doesn't stop in the least after you have plans! They will be there on a moments notice to work through challenges that arrive during the build and the end result will work, and work well.
>
> To sum up, Moss Creek is the first company I would suggest to someone looking to design their dream reclaimed modern home. One happy customer and family over here for sure!
