Ron was in constant communication with us about our project and the timeline and was very responsive to our many questions, always responding to texts and phone calls in a timely fashion. We've never renovated a home before so it was important to us to know everything that would be happening and when, and Ron really helped us feel comfortable with the entire process. All of the workers from AGA did top notch, very professional work, including installing a tricky glass subway tile backsplash in the kitchen. Ron's prices were extremely reasonable and very competitive compared to the other quotes we received for the same scope of work. Ilan and his crews turned our shabby 1950's kitchen into a showplace in nine short weeks. My mother, age 90, decided she needed a new kitchen but had very little idea what it was going to look like. Ilan's great sense of style and space were invaluable. He helped us choose all the materials and closely supervised all the work to make sure it was done perfectly. He suggested removing part of a wall to open up the space, and the difference that made to the look of the kitchen is amazing. We are BEYOND pleased with the results. In fact, we were so happy with the work done by this company that we had them replace the roof, rewire the whole house, and put in all new windows, among many other things. All of the workers were friendly, hard-working and respectful of our home, keeping the noise and dirt to a minimum. > Ilan was outstanding in monitoring the project. He either stopped by the house or called us every day to discuss the progress. He told us what each service was going to cost and held to the price even though additional work was sometimes needed. As I read some of the other reviews of this company, Ilan's honesty is apparent. If your project is not a good match with his company, he will be up-front about telling you, and I respect him for that. Have no clue what to do for backsplash** *(in Design Dilemma)* I have been putting off my backsplash in my kitchen for way too long! Have no idea what to do here. My floor is what has me all confused and I really can’t change the tile right now. HELP!!! A: We think either of these would like nice. **Q: Baffled over Bathroom** *(in Design Dilemma)* Bought a 20 yr. old house which we haven't moved into yet, and don't know what to do with the master bath walls:We have white and green tiles, with pink tub and trim. There is no pink on the left side of the room. I do plan to darken the cabinets, but will have to live with the brass for a while. But - what to do with the walls? Don't care for that pinky beige or the color on the heavily textured wall around the tub, and they don't seem to go together. Is there a color you think might complement and enhance this space, or should I just go with a crisp white? A: We would recommend giving the entire bathroom a face lift. White or light grey walls would look great with medium to dark tiles to accent. Here is an example of a bathroom we just remodeled to give you a visual. **Q: Siding Opinion! On the dark side :0)** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hello, We are siding our house and I'm torn. Debating between a thunder blue (dark but not quite navy-close to what it is now) , granite or black . What would you pick with this style house? Trim advice welcome too. Some combos I like are granite/white trim/teal door or ebony/white trim or blue siding and blue trim with teal door (more of a monochromatic looks than contrasting) Thanks! btw, there's an extra window between top 2 now and we're doing lap siding as opposed to the board and batten there now A: We would recommend a beige color with dark trims. Something similar to this picture. **Q: Guest bathroom remodel** *(in Before & After)* We expanded the bathroom to create double sink vanity for two teenage girls. Bathroom became much open and bright. Beige tiles with white vanity created a spa feel bathroom. Before photo: A: Beautiful! **Q: Which pop of color? Living/dinning room area** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi, which color would recommend me to use for my courtains/drapes and throw pillows so my neutral living/dinning area doesn't look this flat. I recently got bamboo shades which I love. I was thinking maybe patterned curtains but not too sure. Also if you can advice me on my backyard slidding door! A: A dark brown or Burgundy red would add that pop of color. We would suggest sticking to a solid color rather than pattern since you have pattern on the carpet. **Q: exterior stone bungalow - colour suggestions welcome!** *(in Before & After)* We just bought this stone bungalow... one block from the beach. Am looking for some colour suggestions for the roof, eavestrough, soffit and fascia.. to give some curb appeal and colour pop. There is also outdated white siding on the side of the house that i am planning on replacing to incorporate the new colour scheme. Thanks! A: Congratulations on the purchase!
