International Custom Designs provides a full range of design services to both commercial and residential clientele. We specialize in contemporary/modern style with a subtle Japanese influence. 
Owner and principal designer Fumiko Faiman is a native of Japan and has been a professional member of ASID since 1998. She received her BA in Interior Design from San Diego State University. Fumiko has also been certified by CCIDC and is a member of NKBA.  Her work for the 2009 ASID Design Tour was featured in both the Los Angeles Times and Delta/Brizo’s Impressions magazine.  In 2017, her work was featured in Coast Magazine and the Orange County Register.

> My 1400 square foot house in Huntington Beach was built in 1965 and retained many of the original features when I bought it 2001.  Needless to say, it was outdated.  Zoom to 2016 when I hire Fumiko Faiman to do the interior design of my house.  Quite simply, her design was transformative.  She reconfigured the layout of my house to give me more space while adding the “niceties” (e.g., innovative lighting, decorative finishes, color coordinated rooms, etc.) to give this house a brand new look! During the construction phase, the general contractor had very few issues because her design was to scale and well vetted. Fumiko’s design incorporated all of our must haves like a larger closet, better lighting and a shower for two. My husband and I were in awe with the material choices, all of high quality.  Fumiko also possesses a talent to mix and match different tiles.  For example our floor has three types of tiles yet it all works in unison with the shower wall tiles (of a different design) and the cabinetry to create this 5-star resort feel.  We also hired Fumiko and Lisa to design our hall cabinet and staircase.  Simply put, I feel like I’ve moved into my dream modern home.  Thanks for a job well done.

A: Hi Linda, the stools are made by "Elite Modern" in California.  You can check their website to find the dealers.

A: The accent tile is "Mosaico Carrara Blanco" from Porcelanosa.

What is the tile name and brand which has been used in the niche area in the tub. I also want to know the material of the shelf in that niche also, It does not look like glass the way in the other niche above the toilet. Thank you in advance.

A: The tile is White Experience - Apuano Mix 2x2 mosaics from Eleganza.  All the shelves are tempered glass.
