> Fireside Home Construction (Bob and Jake) did a truly amazing job on our farmhouse and barn at Beacon Springs Farm, 2 miles west of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our project received the highest green building award in the world, the Living Building Challenge 'Full Living' award, the second residence in the world to achieve this award. It was a 5-year project which was incredibly complex, requiring close teamwork among a team of 17 professionals. FHC was at the head of this team, and performed with the highest level of competency and professionalism--on time, on budget, and a delight to work with. And the house itself is truly amazing, beautiful beyond description with incredible craftsmanship, and absolutely a delight to live in. Bob and Jake receive our highest recommendation.
