**★★★★★ — Collette + Richard Ostler, April 2019**

> Schulz Construction worked on 2 projects for us, a small renovation initially, and then a full-scale renovation designed by Architect Matthew Hansen.
>
> We couldn't be happier with our project, and it was a real pleasure working with Graham, Nicole and their team. I have already recommended them to many friends, and would be happy to be a reference at any time. They delivered high quality work, deep craftsmanship, and acted with the highest integrity at all times.

> We hired Graham Schultz to do a reno on an 60 year old rancher that we had just purchased. Our goal was to have a modern "aging in place" home that would also fit the needs of frequent house guests and entertaining large numbers. We were given an itemized budget at the beginning and many updates throughout. We encountered many "behind the walls" problems, but Graham was great at communicating the problem, the solution(s) and the cost associated with it. All of the tradesmen that were working on the site were highly respectful. The coordinating of trades was very good and there was very little wasted time. Graham and his staff were also very good at making sure that our neighbours were inconvenienced as little as possible. Niki Schulz was very helpful in keeping us focused in an orderly fashion on the many decisions that had to be made for the interior. She would meet us at the various suppliers and help us to narrow down our choices and make suggestions. Overall, we were very pleased with our new home. It was a pleasure working with Schulz Construction.

> The Schulz Team took us through a major reno to our Lynn Valley bungalow -we took our house down to the studs and rebuilt it, adding a third floor. The work was top quality and the experience was awesome. We love our new home and appreciated the professional care and attention provided by Schulz Construction.

**★★★★★ — STOR-X North & West Vancouver, Aug. 2016**

> I have had the pleasure of working with Niki and Graham on several projects and must say they are great to work with. Professional, respectful, very organized and just nice people are a few attributes that come to mind. I supply custom closets and organizing systems and from what I have observed, they have great trades people and build a quality product. I would call them if I needed a reno or new home built!

> I have been the drywall contractor for Schulz construction for a few years now. Their professionalism, attention to detail, quick response time to any situation and issue solving is second to none. I can tell you if I was building a house I would defiantly want them doing it.

**★★★★★ — Reynolds Cabinet Shop Ltd., Sept. 2015**

> We've been working with Schulz Construction for a number of years and are quite comfortable recommending their services to our millwork clients when renovation services are required for any substantial renovation needs.
>
> Their customer management skills are top-notch, their attention to detail is excellent, and their communications skills - which are so, so important in this industry - are some of the best we've experienced.
>
> Please, if you're looking for a quality renovation contractor contact them. You'll not be disappointed.

> We wanted to renovate our downstairs space to make it better for rental. Some of the work we wanted to do ourselves and some we wanted to have our known electricians do. Schulz construction was amazing. Communication was so easy and they were so reliable, responsible and helpful even on the parts we did. Their ideas truly made a big difference and their workers were friendly and very hard working. They wasted no time and did not leave us hanging between their other jobs even though we were juggling our own schedule. Also, we were small potatoes compared to a new build but we were never made to feel that way. They took us just as seriously as if we were a big client. We simply cannot recommend Graham Schulz and his workers too highly, and, no, we are not related!

**★★★★★ — Accurate Roofing Ltd., June 2014**

> Graham and his crew are a real class act. I have worked with Schulz Construction for nearly 10 years and I'm am always amazed at the level of finish on his projects. Graham is extremely organized, his people are so skilled and his superior communication skills enable his projects to unfold without a hitch.
>
> I always recommend Graham & Co. to my clients when they ask me for a referral of a good General Contractor that I love to work with.

**★★★★★ — User, Jan. 2014**

> I've worked with Graham Schulz on several occasions, being called in to work on some of his projects and recommending him to my clients when they are looking for a contractor. He completes his projects in a timely fashion and to a high standard. He's easy to work with, well organized and can accommodate a broad range of needs. Both he and his crew are professional and a pleasure to work with. I have no problem recommending him.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Where is the carpet from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This carpet was supplied by Flow Home Staging and Decorating

**Q: What paint color are the cabinets ?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi there-thanks for your question. We use Reynolds cabinet shop and it is their ‘Charcoal.’

**Q: Gorgeous bathroom! Tile?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love this bathroom, beautiful finishing. Could you please advise the manufacturer, name and size of the wall tile & floor tile?
Thanks

A: We used Bianco Venatino from Ames Tile in Burnaby.

**Q: Paint colour** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you share what paint colour you have used in this kitchen?

A: yes! cc 40 cloud white

**Q: My living room and dining Area** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am wondering whether I have too much red ? And if not I would like to replace the dining table with the small round one and paint it as well !not sure what color the dining table should be or if I'm even headed in the right direction ? Kind of thinking the dining table could be red Pedestal leg , and a black top ! confused not knowing if I'm on the right track ?

A: I think it's great that you are pulling colours from your area rug. It's a great starting point. Red always seems so fresh and exciting ;) is there another colour you could pull from the rug? A dark grey? Nice work on the diy work, so satisfying to transform something.

**Q: Help needed with gallery wall** *(in Design Dilemma)*

There is something about this wall that bugs me. This is in my sunroom and is the only wall space I have, the rest is windows. The sewing machine is a family treasure and believe it or not the only place in my whole house that I can showcase it. The pictures also stay. But I am unsure of the plant and the decorative accessories on the sewing machine as well as the black ledges on the wall. Do I need to paint them to soften things? Should I add more to the wall or is too busy already. I'm also including other pictures of the room so you can see the whole layout and color scheme.

A: I think it's the ledges that makes the weighting wrong. For such a narrow space keeping the frames and decor a little bit more delicate might help. Love the wall color!
