There is no other space for the TV.... A: Lindsay, can you try rotating the couches to the left on the carpet? **Q: Help! Bathroom remodel turned out terrible!** *(in Design Dilemma)* What can I do to fix this? I’m going to leave the tile and floor. So, what should I do with the cabinet, countertop (yes I will change the counter if I have to) and wall color? I already feel like this bathroom is too white but dare I paint everything all white?? Cabinet is BM Stonington Gray and it’s way too light. Countertop is Brava Marfil and it’s too yellow. (I wanted Minuet but could not find a remnant). Wall color is BM Horizon and I don’t like it. What are some options I have besides making it white? I put those accessories there to try to add some wood elements. A: The light over the mirror is too big and has an old look. Also, you have to purchase deco and accessories that will reflect light (stainless) OR add an accent color with deco and accessories such has rose gold for example. It would give a look to your bathroom and add something special. If ever you need, I do phone consultation **Q: Stumped on what to do with our TV wall** *(in Home Decorating)* I am looking for suggestions on how to decorate around a TV that’s on a long contiguous wall that extends past the living room and up the stairs and landing (see pic). We have a 75 inch TV and I like the look of a dark charcoal/navy wall to prevent the tv from looking like a black hole, but that would not work in this scenario. I would really appreciate some more suggestions. FYI at the other end of the wall is a set of sliding doors that lead to the balcony with only a few inches between the wall and the frame. A: Which style do you like ? Is your house more modern or country looking ? **Q: Black window trim? Just painted my house white (from mustard yellow)** *(in Paint)* At the beginning of August, after a couple of years of not finding another house to buy, I decided that I want to come home to a color other than mustard yellow. It is now white, but my plan was to paint the window trim black (only the trim - there are inserts and I need to start prepping for school this week). I tried one, and it was too much work and didn't look as nice as I had hoped. On the right end, I have vinyl siding, so that was an issue as well. My new handyman does metal bending work and could cover the current frames in black, but I'd like some feedback before I do that. The windows look too small to me now that the house is white. I included a pic of the unpainted house without shutters, because I think the contrast of yellow and white makes the windows look bigger and in better proportion with the facade. A: Would you like elephant gray? **Q: Keep or replace new white marble top with black spots?** *(in Home Decorating)* Our cremo delicato countertop has black spots in very prominent locations. Clearly we were foolish not to discuss these marks with the fabricator. Is it common for a fabricator to feature (place in a prominent location) this sort of spotting? Not sure we want what look like paint drips/blemishes to be a major feature of our kitchen. The seam also looks bit iffy. Thank you. A: I think you are making the right decision with the right mind set. You will see your kitchen every day and you don’t want your eyes to always be directed to the dark spots which you do not like. I am wondering if you can resell the marble slab to companies that cut marble to do cutting board for example or decorative plateau. **Q: Interior design/layout advice for 1bd/1bth bachelor pad** *(in Home Decorating)* Looking for advice on layout options and design ideas for my new apartment. Going for a bachelor pad look. I’m really only bringing over a gray sectional, dark wood tv stand, and small dark wood desk. Excited to splurge on new furniture/art to make it look nice.
