> Our recently renovated bathroom, courtesy of Sharon Scharrer Design, LLC, is an absolute triumph. The beauty lies in the details—from the chic fixtures to the thoughtful layout. It's now a refined space, both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Thanks to Sharon Scharrer Design, LLC, our bathroom has become a daily retreat. I wholeheartedly recommend their expertise for a bathroom that reflects sophistication and comfort!

**★★★★★ — LINDA PEARRELL, May 2018**

> Remodeling the kitchen was on my wish list for 5 years, and I am so glad we found Sharon and her team to do the job. Sharon is extremely focused on getting the details just right. She is not satisfied until you are satisfied. In fact, she corrected some issues with our cabinets that I didn't even notice. I was pretty sure I knew how I wanted my kitchen to look and function, and Sharon quickly understood what I wanted and helped me shape my ideas into a cohesive, beautiful result. She is diligent about functionality, not just looks, and that attitude served us well. She recommended some structural changes that we did not think would be in the budget, but they turned out to be the best decision we made, and the budget survived! Everyone she brought into our home was neat, professional, and on time -- schedule delays due to weather issues were dealt with quickly. We enjoyed working with Sharon and her team, and absolutely love our kitchen today.

> After careful consideration and research, we chose to go with Sharon and her team for our kitchen renovation. We have zero regrets and are absolutely thrilled with the results. Sharon is not only a gifted interior designer, she is also a general contractor with immense knowledge of building and planning - a great combination. We were given a timeline at the beginning which was rarely deviated from (unheard of). All the workers she uses are professional, respectful, and do quality work....they never "cut corners" for the sake of saving time. Our budget was kept in careful consideration the entire time. Sharon's team was great at guiding us through the process and helping with decisions about design, cabinet, hardware, lights, etc. Highly recommend this team!

> We could not be more pleased with our remodel! Sharon's design transformed the original kitchen, dining, and family/living rooms in our 80's ranch into a beautiful new space. By tearing down multiple walls and building a knee wall with columns, we now have an open floor plan that we love. Her design for our kitchen gave us more functional space than we thought possible by adding a pantry cabinet and a beautiful large island. Her expert advice guided us in choosing the perfect cabinets, backsplash, and granite. Sharon is a skilled, detail-oriented professional, and she and her team were right on schedule with each phase of our project.

> Ms. Scharrer did an outstanding renovation. She was meticulous in her planning and design. Throughout this project, Sharon listened to our ideas, worked within our budget, met deadlines, and delighted us with the results. We will be working with Sharon again!

> Sharon cam up with an ambitious plan for our 60's era ranch. She removed walls in our dining, living and kitchen areas opening up the entire space. Sharon had knee walls with columns built to give some definition to the area. Sharon pulled off this remodel with excellent results. I am thrilled with my new house! She is very diplomatic and made this fun for my wife and I. I would highly recommend her!

> As a professional Interior and Architectural photographer it is absolutely wonderful to work with professional's like Sharon. Sharon creates the most beautiful space possible, and isn't afraid to take out walls to do it. I was shocked to see some of the "before" photos, realizing how far these kitchens had come. Her vision for a space is incredible
> Not only is Sharon's work impressive, but she is fun, energetic, and a breeze to work with.
> While photographing her beautiful work, I was able to meet a few of her satisfied clients, and was equally impressed by how well she met their wants, needs and budget in their kitchen remodeling project. I recommend Sharon to everyone!

**★★★★★ — brgrdg, Jan. 2016**

> As a client of Sharon's I could not be happier with my new kitchen. Sharon was very helpful and easy to work with and shop with to find the perfect products. I knew I wanted an earthy, organic looking kitchen that would flow with my stone and wood house. I think it turned out perfect! Rachel Goodman

> Sharon and her team are excellent! Sharon is highly knowledgeable, energetic and extremely visionary. She is prompt, kept her sub contractors well-scheduled and provided reliable timelines and estimates. She transformed our kitchen from a non-functional, 20+ year old relic to a completely updated and perfectly functional "hub of life" for our large family. We trusted all of her advice and suggestions, and she was right on every time. She is thorough, cost-minded and fun. We are already planning on hiring her for a second project!

**★★★★★ — gesglaser, Aug. 2015**

> Gorgeous kitchen with quality craftsmanship. Respectful, thorough subcontractors. Sharon is very responsive to feedback and worked hard to make our dreams a reality. We love our new kitchen!

**★★★★★ — Leslie Epperly, Aug. 2014**

> Sharon and her team worked to help us create a new kitchen that had not been touched since the house was built 24 years ago. She took the time during the planning process to insure that everything would come together cohesively. The reason I hired Sharon's Design team was because she was able to provide a full-service experience. I had a wall cut out, complete re-finishing of my wood floors and a complete kitchen tear out. She coordinated all the subs and made my life much easier through this intensive project. Her right hand man Alfredo is very respectful of your home and a jack of all trades - does the extras to make things right. Dave is the best cabinet man around and also doesn't leave until everything is just right. Everyone she recommended did a fantastic job and she coordinated all their schedules. You can count on her team to help you through the decision making process and she keeps you fully informed throughout the project.
> She goes above and beyond to stay within your assigned budget. We love our new kitchen!

**★★★★★ — donnadeha, July 2014**

> I love my kitchen. It is more than I ever dreamed off. Sharon was excellent with guiding me along the way as we put each piece together. If I ever had a question with anything, we solved it and moved right along. Her team of contractors do excellent work and met timelines as the project moved along. This is the first kitchen I have ever had reconstructed and there could be no better contracting team than with Sharon Scharrer designs. At first I was not sure of the cut out into the living room when I heard about it, but I absolutely love the openness that the design allows. Living can't get much better than this....

## Community Q&A

**Q: what did you use on this projectt** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love this kitchen. What is the counter top and the color? What is the back splash and color? What the is square over the stove.

A: The counter tops are Santa Cecilia Granite. The design over the stove is made from 4 different tiles, including oil rubbed bronze pencil liners and four 2x2 center deco tiles. and a glass/stone mosaic. The back splash tile is polished marble subway.

**Q: What is the cabinet color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Taupe paint with brown brush glaze

**Q: What is the paint color on kitchen walls? Love it.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The paint in this kitchen is Valspar "Dry Leaf."

**Q: what is the color of the cabinets? what paint company.** *(in Photo Questions)*

what is the name and color of the countertop

A: perimeter cabinets are vanilla paint shaker. The Island is Espresso finish shaker. The counter tops are granite. The granite was an odd lot color. Sorry, can't remember the name of the granite color.

**Q: Please help! Gaps in kitchen cabinetry.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am really upset. Our Medallion white cabinets have been installed and these are some of the gaps and finishing nail marks. How can the stick of wax they give you cover up all of this? I am considering having the gaps and holes filled in with putty and having the entire cabinetry re painted. That means we will have to paint over the factory finish. Any advice is appreciated.

A: It is late to weigh on this, but my company sells a lot of painted cabinets, and truth is, wood shrinks after installation, especially up at the ceiling as heat rises. In all fairness to installer, miters can be perfect after installation and a few months later look like this. If installer caulks seams at installation, the wood shrinkage will still happen, and the standard caulking they use will pull apart, crack, and look even worse. It is good to wait, knowing it will shrink, and then apply the right kind of caulk later. Sherwin Williams makes an excellent caulk that doesn't shrink and crack; and they can color match it to the exact shade of the cabinets. For anyone contemplating painted cabinets, please know, that wood expands and contracts, and paint doesn't. Every cabinet company requires a signed paint awareness statement from the customer. Not all cabinet sellers and installers explain the realities of painted cabinetry to the homeowner.

**Q: Cabinet color** *(in Photo Questions)*

What color are the cabinets are painted?

A: These cabinets are maple with taupe paint and brown brush glaze over all.
