> Handhills Cabinets was hired to do a complete custom kitchen for us after many issues of dealing with the big name high-end cabinet makers.    Working with the big name guys was very interesting as they advertised custom work, but when it came to adding extra deep cupboards and fridge space, they wanted nothing to do with it.  Then we found another big name cabinet maker that would do what we wanted, but it more than doubled the price of the kitchen.

Much to my surprise, after a week and a few emails, Handhills had a formal quote for exactly what we wanted.  Two days later they showed up and did the onsite measurements, 30 days after that they called me to schedule an install.

> It was a very good experience from the begining,  was shown different door panels, acessories available for the cabinets.  When you walk in the building  you can see how the cabinets are made.  Repairs and replacements were no problem they were done asap.  the cabinets were delivered on time.  What I liked was only half hour drive instead of 2 hours to Calgary.  They were pleasant and very nice to work with.  I have recommended them to others.

Client originally wanted to reface her kitchen cabinets.  With the ceiling height being 9ft we would still be left with 30" cabinets.  So instead we completely remodeled the kitchen!

The kitchen was small and in desperate need of expanding. There was also a stair case leading into it which took up much more space than we wanted. We sealed off the entrance to the stairs leaving the other side for access up and down the stairway. We also created a pass-through window which allowed for more interaction between guests and homeowner. The before picture will show this was all closed off. We hope you like it!
