It is a beautiful log home with superb craftsmanship both outside and inside. The quality of the construction was truly amazing. When Dennis builds you a house, he tells you that he is your contractor for life and this has proven to be so true. Dennis built my house in Ketchum, completing it in 2005, and has been involved in looking after it ever since. The design and construction were challenging tasks given the difficult site conditions (the house is a high-end, 5500 sq. ft. 3-level structure built on a mountain slope with limited access and parking). Dennis and his foreman did a masterful job handling every aspect of the project. I have worked with many contractors over the years and I have never seen such attention to detail. In addition to all the things one expects from a topnotch contractor, Dennis also made important contributions to the design process, often raising questions or making suggestions that led to improvements in aesthetics, practical utility or cost savings. Post-construction, Dennis makes being an owner easy—he is always there and eager to help deal with any problem or issue that might arise, no matter how small. Another telling fact is that I have met a lot of the other people that Dennis has built homes for over the years and all feel the same way I do about Dennis.
