> In consultation with us Sam Clark completely redesigned an ugly and woefully inefficient 1950's kitchen in our Victorian house in Ithaca, NY. He built the cabinets in his Vermont shop and then delivered and installed them, along with countertops and various clever elements, skillfully integrating his design and cabinets into the small space. The result is a pleasant and very efficient kitchen that makes cooking a pleasure. The cost was reasonable, and the kitchen is aesthetically beautiful along with being designed for ease of use. We love to cook and eat in our transformed space.

A: Hello, The material you see is a Finnish Soapstone. Our supplier tells us that it has not been available recently. If you are interested in learning more about it or want the supplier to look into it for you let us know. Thanks for asking.
