> I have never written a single bad review, but Padilla Pool is so horrible that I’m compelled to warn others.

> Don’t deal with Padilla Pool if you value your sanity and hard earned money. Not only the quality of work is questionable, they are completely unprofessional when it comes to communication and showing up for appointments, to completely ignoring you when you ask them to complete warranty work.

> I spent $50k+ to have them remodel my pool and the hardscape around it. Within 4 months of project completion, we had 3 massive leaks due to broken return pipes. Had to pay them an additional $1,500 to get the leaks fixed. Within 12 months of the leak being repaired, one side of the pavers slowly collapsed. The walkway which is far away from the pool and the leak also became uneven.  About a 3 feet length of bullnose coping also came detached from the pool. I also just found out I have a leaking skimmer.

> I asked them to do the repair (I supposedly have a 2-year warranty on the remodel work) and even agreed to pay an additional $2,500 as I believe the drought partially contributed to the collapse. They agreed to do the work but took 7 months of endless phone calls and emails from me before their contractor showed up. The contractor closed the gaps between the pavers, but left the pavers un-leveled, sloping downhill. When I asked the workers to level the hardscape, they claimed Padilla Pool didn’t specify that in the scope of work. They stopped work immediately and left because they weren’t able to get authorization from Padilla Pool to fix things correctly. I had to call and email Padilla Pool many times to ask what was going on and when will they come back and finish the work. After endless phone calls and emails, and two appointments where they never showed up, they have gone completely unresponsive and I’m now stuck with:

> 1.A pool that has a crack in it and is leaking
> 2.A hardscape that is sloping downhill
> 3.A walkway that is uneven
> 4.Coping that has come loose and fallen off
> 5.A leaking skimmer
> 6.A step and some tiles around it that have cracked

> On top of all this horrible results, the experience of dealing with them is so unprofessional that as a business owner myself, I don’t know how can any business treat their customers like this, let along one that paid them $50k+.

> 1.Half the time they didn’t show up at the time of the appointment. They would tell you they are running late but never show up. I took many days off work just waiting for them. During work the crew would show up on whichever days with no heads up from the office. At times no one would show up for days and no one would call and give me a status.
> 2.Calling the office is absolutely no use. The ladies at the office always claim to know nothing and promised to call back with an answer, and I think 5% of the time they actually called back.
> 3.Calling Ed Padilla or sending him text to his mobile number never got an answer or a reply.
> 4.Sending email is even worse. Almost never got a reply.
> 5.Basically the only time they would proactively contact me is when they wanted to collect on the invoice.

> For a customer who has paid $50k on-time and even paid additional money for warranty work. I can’t imagine deserving this type of treatment from Padilla Pool. A real disgraceful business.

> We needed our pool replastered.  We called Padillia's pool remodeling services.  They came out within a few days to write up a bid.  The bid seemed very reasonable.  We looked them up on Yelp and found they received great reviews.  We hired them.  The work was completed in a few days.  They cleaned up all their mess and the best yet is the new plaster looks great!
