> My wife and I worked with Forma Construction to renovate a historical house in Chicago originally built in the 1870s. I recommend this company completely and a 5 star review does not even do them justice.  They embody all of the qualities anyone could ask of a construction company: Professionalism, transparancy, timeliness, open and honest communication, and just pure talent for their craft.  Our project (not surprisingly for it's age) ran into several surpises along the way.  They handled each new issue that arose with expedience and developed creative soutions to meet our end goals.  This is a major thing that sets Forma Construction apart from the pack.  They don't just build "cookie cutter" homes.  They actually relish a challenging project and excel at completing them.  They transformed our house into what is essentially a brand new single family home while maintaining all of the important historical nuances that make our home so unique.  I have personally recommended Forma to several friends and family members and will continue to do so. I guarantee if you choose Forma you will absolutely be thrilled with the results and will find yourself recommending them to your friends and family for years to come as well

Luckily for us, first time was the charm. Pete, our builder was attentive and reassuring for every last detail we put into our home. He worked well with our specific design aesthetic, vision and was receptive to last minute changes. He kept us in the loop on our weekly building updates and gave us his experienced advice on every last decision we made. Above all else he built our home in record time and we believe his organizational skills made all the difference in our building time.
