What is the smallest basin that I could use with this fountain?

A: Aimee, The fountain is about 12" across so it would be good if the diameter of your vessel was at least 20 to 24". You can probably get away with 18" but it will be close. You will need about 6 to 10 inches deep minimum for water reservoir.
