> My husband and I have worked with Tamara Eaton Design on numerous projects, our third and most recent project with her was for interior design in our Victorian home in Brooklyn and then later, redesigning our office to become a nursery. Tamara has a fantastic design aesthetic and always takes time to get to know our personal style, budget, and lifestyle before making recommendations. Tamara always has creative and budget conscious solutions to make even the most awkward of spaces feel natural, comfortable, and beautiful.

> I worked with Tamara and her team when my family moved to New York from overseas. She has a fabulous eye for design and bringing to life our ideas that we couldn't properly articulate.
>
> She and her assistants would find high end pieces and special economic one-off pieces from cool downtown and Brooklyn designers that we could never have found, and effortlessly seamed them together that everything looked very polished and unique. It was a very collaborative process, not a fast one-size fits all.
>
> We worked with her over 12 months, as our needs grew and we liked more and more what she and the team did.
>
> I also appreciated that she billed us for her and her design assistant's time, not taking a commission off everything we bought. So if she received a discount on something, she passed it on. It felt like we were much more of a team through the process.
>
> Very patient with us when my husband and I couldn't decide on something. They were responsive to our feedback and helping us navigate a way forward.
>
> Cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

> I worked on a project with Tamara a few years ago, where she gave very practical and nice suggestions and even recommended her to others. I take it all back. Her lack of responsiveness and time management seems to be a HUGE issues. In a middle of a project - she was completely non-responsive and unreachable for weeks. Despite her good vision when you get her attention, I cannot work with a designer who does not meet time expectations and becomes unreachable in a middle of a project.

**Comment from Tamara Eaton Design:**

> Catherine,
> We loved working with you several years ago when we were a much smaller company and could take on small projects. We really love working with past clients again and frequently do. Currently, my company is designing and managing multiple large scale townhouse and development projects and I have a significantly larger staff than when we worked together all those years ago. So although I oversee all the design I now have several design assistants to execute projects and liaise with clients, so I'm not directly available in the same capacity for very small projects. Unfortunately we weren't able to start this project at all with you but I'm always happy to recommend a colleague who may be able to take on a project of this size and budget. Best of luck!

Where did you get them? Were they white when you bought them, or were they painted outside of the store?

A: The Cherner chairs were purchased from Design Within Reach in white

**Q: where is mirror from and the dimensions? looks great** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The mirror is Roburn and they come in many sizes.

**Q: tcstirzi** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who manufactures the industrial-looking door?

A: This is an original door in the warehouse loft, so it's part of the old building.
