> We bought a house BB were building on spec in 1999, which we were able to convert into our custom home while making finish selections by fax from London UK!! It took grace and patience on all sides but the result was a joy. I did not hesitate seven years later to hire Karren and Mark again when it came time to realise my dream two level ipe and cedar wrap around deck with spiral staircase. It continues to be our daily favourite hang out spot. Last fall, children out of the nest, it was time to convert our upper level to a studio, with a reconfigured roof, tuck a glamorous bathroom in the eaves and to expand the master suite and bath into a light-filled sanctuary. Bethesda Builders use top notch craftsmen, supervise and coordinate meticulously, and are transparent about provenance and quality of materials. With their intelligent suggestions and helpful guidance, we got everything we wanted. Yet again. Bravo! ( Final inspection, passed, the day before the Covid-19 shutdown. It also helps to be a little lucky.)

> Our experience with Bethesda Builders was positive in all respects. The project was four custom designed built-ins involving shelving and cabinets. A particular challenge was that the built-ins had to conceal large and unsightly heating/air-conditioning units and thus had to have removable panels for easy access. The resulting design was clever and practical (e.g., a removable air vent which neatly sits within a larger panel, which is in turn removable), and reflected our intended style (a modern look with clean lines). The project was completed on time and on budget. The staff (the owners of Bethesda Builders)  were creative about problems, responsive, efficient and very knowledgable. The carpenter and his assistant, who had to adjust and fine tune the measurements on site to fit uneven walls and floors, were respectful, tidy and punctual. My husband and I are very happy with the finished project and feel our money was well spent. We would hire this firm again without hesitation.

Hi - trying to locate a pivoting hinge for the vent in our new steam shower.  Could you tell me where yours was purchased?

Can you tell me the edging used on the island , its a nice accent to the stone in that area. Beautiful Kitchen !!

We would LOVE to replicate these beams. Width, height and depth and also the details of the crown, cove and bead. Our ceilings are also 9ft high. Thank you!!

A: Beams are approximately 8" x \*' with 3 1/2" - 4" cove molding and beaded detail on bottom face.
