Hi there.  Can you tell me what kind of plant is growing up the walls?

A: This was already trained as an espalier when we purchased and installed it.  This photo was taken after only a year.

**Q: What is the name of the plant or succulant with orange blooms?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Sandra, the orange blooming succulent is Aloe Grenedensis.  It blooms in So Cal anywhere from December through February.

**Q: Plant sourcing** *(in Photo Questions)*

These are lovely plantings.  Do you know a good place to buy the Orchid Rockrose and Pride of Madeira in southern california, near San Diego?  Is it a special variety of rockrose that blooms so beautifully?

A: Hello, I would try Waterwise Botanicals and Altman Plants in San Diego for the plants you mention.  They are both great resources!

**Q: WHAT IS THE PLANT D BEWEEN FLAGSTONE?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This project is inland only about 10 miles from the Coast.  Dymondia is very tough and water about every two weeks is about right.  The soil it likes best is sandy or even a DG.  I have acquaintances in the Landscape business in the San Diego areas you are speaking of and they use this ground cover frequently in their projects.  Good Luck!
