> Building my garage was scary for me, but Warren Pieces were not only great efficient builders they were really supportive through the whole process. If I ever need anything else built...Warren Pieces will be my first call!

**★★★★★ — User, May 2017**

> Warren Pieces were the only builders we met with that had the vision and the confidence to take on our job. We took a mid-century modern building that had more than a few years of deferred maintenance and made it into our home. Our budget was miniscule. We required a builder that could envision what we needed and could also work with the surprises and left turns that needed to be taken along the way. The project turned out better than we hoped. Whitney & Matt were always very positive, forward thinking, and focused on the end product while helping us invent solutions as we went along. The result is fantastic, and we couldn't be happier.

**★★★★★ — Jim Parker, Jan. 2014**

> Artistic, professional, good communicators, fairly priced. Let's just say my wife and I are starting to make up projects that probably don't need to be done just to see what these guys come up with next!
>
> Warren Pieces has such a powerful attention to detail that you'd think they were accountants...BUT NO! They are some of the most tastefully creative people you'll ever meet.
>
> I hope for your sake you find something for them to do for you.

> My experience with Warren Pieces was terrific! I stopped at the shop in the hopes of getting Whit to make a bench for my mudroom. He helped me pick out a beautiful piece of sugar maple (complete with tap holes) for it. Within a month, Whit created the piece, which is beautiful! I was impressed with both the service and product of Warren Pieces.

> I could not have been more pleased with the quality of product and service from this company. The cabinets are beautiful and work well. The company was really good about follow up to make sure everything was working as it should.

## Community Q&A

**Q: where can I get trim like this for an arched doorway?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Good morning. Typically you can buy sections either on line or at your local lumber yard. That is for typical stuff. If you want to match perfectly, you might need to get your " section" milled. I would find a good mill shop tell them what you are trying to do and bring them a sample. They can typically match it's shape.
I would search " custom mill work" in your area or look for a local cabinet maker as they would have the bits you need to recreate it.
Ps. Also just search moldings. If you find a profile you like, you might be able to re- trim your whole window for less than trying to match one custom board.
Hope this helps!

**Q: Should I Paint My Cabinets White?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Our kitchen needs an update, we are considering changing the backsplash, painting the cabinets and expanding the island to fit four (husband's request). We're torn because the cabinets are not the best quality so I'm not sure if we should paint or purchase new, we have a limited budget. My style is transitional, I want it to give me the same feeling as our family room. What do you think? I'd also like professional help with making a decision, we live in Johns Creek, Ga. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

A: I just wanted to suggest that you do it one section at a time.
And since it's oak, you could Ebonize it. Vs. paint. It keeps the grain while making it a bone flat black.
On the cabinet doors, you could mask off the panels and make the frames black while keeping the panels oak. It makes a bold but well suited contrast. You can see examples if you search ebonized oak.
Remember, you can paint over anything!
