I love the kitchen with its warm cherry cabinets and beautiful granite countertops. After decades of good service, the original appliances have begun to struggle and I was considering purchasing replacements. I sought Cheryl D.'s opinion regarding which style of appliance would blend with or enhance the kitchen's appearance. Cheryl D. took the time to consider the choices I showed her and helped me decide which appliance style would look best in my kitchen. She knows current trends and has an artist's sense of color, tone, and form. I was grateful for her opinion and respect her experienced advice! She designed a kitchen that was well-laid out, functional, had more usable storage space, and absolutely stunning to look at. She provided gorgeous cabinets that had cool pull-outs, turntables, dividers, etc. She designed our oven/refrigerator area to look more like a built-in, giving it a cleaner, custom look. > > Cheryl did not just take our existing layout and replace the cabinets. She completely transformed the area. She pushed the limits, slightly moving our peninsula into the dining area just enough to make the kitchen area appear so much larger (and feel so much larger) without jeopardizing the dining space. Just upon entering their home, she pointed at the fireplace bump-out and said, ‘Paint that black.’ Our friend was taken aback. Even though quite creative herself, it had never occurred to her to paint the bump-out fireplace black, and she was somewhat hesitant to do so. But she trusted Cheryl and went ahead and painted it as Cheryl suggested. It is stunning, and changed the entire room.
