Emma is a gem to work with. She has a fantastic eye and her network of contacts came in handy when trying to narrow down the myriad choices for design items that are out there. She's knows what is available and where to find it. Emma managed to understand my vision for the house and was able to help me articulate that vision in everything from tile choices, to hardware, to lighting. Emma is also an artist. Emma was able to provide my suppliers and contractors with water colors or drawings whenever I was having difficulty explaining how I wanted things to look. Getting these drawings were a godsend in that they ensured everyone was on the same page. Not all designers will do this. Some create "look boards" etc., but seeing a painting of what your kitchen will look like in the end, was far better than any look board I've seen. I'd also add that we had no mistakes. Emma did all the elevation drawings for the kitchen, built-ins, baths etc. and for a job this size, it's a miracle we didn't have any issues!
