A: There is a downward draft fan built into the peninsula. Look at the top of the cooktop - towards the seating. You'll see a raised panel. That is the fan that pops up. See the photo below where the fan is up. **Q: The cooktop has a downdraft** *(in Photo Questions)* The cooktop has a downdraft. Who is the manufacturer? I've been looking all over with no success. A: This one is Thermador. Other manufacturers of downdraft venting are JennAir, KitchenAid and others. Not sure why you're having a problem finding one.
