> I would avoid. Too many missed deadlines and broken promises. Brought in stuff we didn’t order, didn’t bring stuff we did. Bathroom wainscoting looks like a toddler installed. All measurements done by arbor staff were incorrect which resulted in incorrect cabinets being built. When we noticed, they did correct, but acted like they were doing us a favor by doing so even though their contract states if measurements are off by x amount they would be redone (paraphrase). First project manager left several thousand dollars worth of plumbing fixtures in my driveway to potentially be stolen and left in the elements. Wasn’t moved until I complained and even then he didn’t understand why I was balked. They gave us a 1 year warranty which they are not honoring. We submitted warranty claim within 1 year but since cabinet guy is so “busy” he couldn’t come until later. We spotted the cabinet guy 5 months, still hasn’t shown up and arbor doesn’t return texts, emails, calls or verbal inquiries. They quoted a 6 month completion timeline but took about 14.
> This guy lives in my neighborhood. We’ve known of each other for probably 15 years. Because of this I expected a level of professionalism. Silly me. If they can do this to a neighbor imagine the accountability they would have for your project.

> I was very pleased with the work they did in my bathroom. Everyone that came to my home was courteous. The end product is beautiful! Would recommend them to others!

> I have had the chance to work with Brian Macuga of Arbor Construction for many home improvement projects. He has brought his extensive knowledge and experience of home construction each time. We have done bathroom and kitchen renovations, which included moving walls and changing floor plans. The last project was a complete over haul of our outdoor living area and a covered porch project. Brian drew impressive plans, kept the project within budget and brought a high quality product to my home. With each project, Brian listened to my ideas and brought more ideas to the table. One of my favorite parts of the renovation was working with his employees, especially Kris!

> Arbor construction did a major remodel for us. Turned a downstairs laundry room into an executive home office (took a door out and put in window, heavy molding, hardwood floors, etc). The room is a show stopper! Upstairs they were able to convert a very large closet into an upstairs laundry and remodeled the hall bath (we borrowed some space from this bathroom for the laundry room). The teams that came out to perform the work were incredible. We actually looked forward to seeing them in the morning and were very sad when the project came to an end. Arbor was so responsive that on Christmas eve we had an electrical issue (laundry room) and Arbors electrician came out immediately to switch the outlet. We explained that we had another laundry space to use and we could wait till after the holiday, but Arbor said "we will be out today", and they were. Great work, amazing response time, and a job well done! EXCELLENT!

> I spent several days trying to find a contractor for a 203K loan. Because of the nature of 203K's and the lack of knowledge by contractors out there for them, it was really hard to find someone who would take on the project. Thankfully Arbor had no hesitations about 203k. I did find other contractors that would take on the project, but because it was 203k they felt that they could overcharge because of it. I will not name names but those contractors are rated here on Houzz. However, Arbor gave me what I felt was an extremely fair bid for the work to be done. Not only that, they were very flexible at removing and adding in items to fit within the budget that we were given from the bank. They were there the day we closed on the house to start work and got everything done is a very fast amount of time. They are extremely easy to work with, explain all their costs, are very honest and upfront, and best of all they don't try to nickel and dime you. We did have an issue with the tile not being installed they way it was supposed to, but Arbor immediately worked it out and fixed the issue without hesitation and without any extra cost to me. They finished the work on time and actually there was some items that didn't need to be done which saved money in the budget and allowed us to add in a few more items that we wanted to do.
> I am very happy that I chose Arbor for the project. I absolutely will hire them again if I need a contractor.

> Several years ago Arbor Construction built in my mud room a set of cubbies to get my life (with 5 children) a bit more organized. The quote was very reasonable, drawing was clear and easy to understand, the workers were very prompt and cleaned up after themselves, and the finished product was everything that I hoped for and more. Now each child has a cubbie to place their backpacks and jackets, a closed bin to place their shoes, and a cupboard above to put extra storage! It looks great!! Thanks Arbor!

> very professional, does top work, puts emphasis on detail, doesn't cut corners. All construction is done in a timely manner

> Brian Macuga's leadership skills, professionalism, depth of construction knowledge and calming nature made him a perfect choice for the 2013 Houzz-Lowes Kitchen Sweepstakes winners, the Sammons Family. Their manufactured home was in desperate need of a remodel, and as the selected designer for the project, I had no remodeling experience in a manufactured home. Brian answered all my questions and provided the technical guidance I needed during the design process.
>
> Being sensitive to the budget constraints, Brian was also instrumental in helping us get more bang for our buck with the cabinetry, as well as offering options for savings wherever possible. They included work in the Living Room and Laundry Room, going above and beyond the Kitchen scope of work.
>
> Johnny Propst, the jobsite construction manager, was attentive throughout construction phase, and I appreciated his collaborative approach. My backsplash design, was intricate, detailed and designed in a way, to use all the mosaic tiles sheets. Instead of taking the easy road, and ordering more tile (as the installer wanted), he took the time to work out how that goal could be accomplished easily, avoiding unnecessary waste.
>
> A solution-oriented guy when faced with construction challenges, and being respectful of my design intent, Johnny was proactive in contacting me, offering practical, workable options. There were problems cutting the glass backsplash tile, and he was integral in working with the tile installers to help them find a professional looking solution.
>
> Arbor Construction is a dedicated company, responsive to the homeowner's needs and concerns. I look forward to the possibility of working with them again in the future.

> We had our Master Bathroom totally renovated down to the studs. We couldn't be happier with the end result. We also had a bath vanity area removed and custom closets put in its place. It turned out just the way I had envisioned. Our Master closet was totally redone and customized by the excellent carpenters of Brian's team. They also put crown molding in our Master Bedroom and did some extra carpentry to house our TV above fireplace. His electricians also replaced fans and lights throughout our downstairs. We were pleased with Brian's approach, honesty, fairness, and integrity.

> Arbor Construction Group transformed a little used brick patio into a BEAUTIFUL outdoor room. Their attention to detail and excellent craftmanship gave our family a place to enjoy year round.

**★★★★★ — coneil1, Sept. 2012**

> Arbor Construction recently completed our patio under our deck. We have lived in our house for eight years and had been at a loss as to how to best use the space. Arbor was able to develop a plan which involved carpentry, painting, masonry and electrical work, then carry it out. Adjustments that needed to be made were not a problem! We now have a beautiful place to sit and enjoy our backyard.
> This was the third project we have hired Arbor to complete. We will hire them again, hopefully soon!

**★★★★★ — christad, Sept. 2012**

> Arbor Construction Group did an exceptional job on our kitchen remodel. The attention to detail was outstanding, and we were impressed with their efficiency in completing the job within a reasonable time frame. We are very pleased with the finished product! Thank you, Arbor Construction Group, for turning our vision into a reality.
