> I worked with Pamela Baird on a major ktichen remodel, which included expanding the kitchen through walls on two sides. Pamela was responsible for the extensive system of kitchen cabinets for a room with 12-foot ceilings and two returns. The cabinet design went through several interations based on changing plans from an interior designer. Pamela handled these changes with calm professionalism. When the final cabinet design had elements that were simply too expensive, she worked with me to find excellent affordable alternatives.

Brookhaven brand cabinets were selected in an inset door style in a navy painted finish. The wall cabinets were stacked to line up with the cabinet above the hood. The tall cabinets were built extra high. An oversized crown moulding keeps in proportion with the tall ceiling. The island provides seating, as well as housing a microwave and under counter wine cooler.

**Q: cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

what color are the cabinets love it

A: The cabinet color is a "Navy" painted finish. The cabinets were manufactured by Brookhaven, a division of Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry. The finish is one of their standard painted colors.
The color is a "dulled down" Navy color (with a bit of gray)- not a bright clear Navy blue.

Also what is the material of the countertops?

A: Thanks for the question- I think that you are asking for the thickness of the top- it's 2 inches thick.  The material is Calacutta marble stone.

**Q: The cabinets are beautiful what kind of wood & stain did you use?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'm about to remodel my kitchen and I love the way these cabinets look.

A: The wood species for the cabinets is knotty pine w/ a soft gray finish.  The door style is a recessed style on an inset face frame construction.  Please let me know if you need more infromation.

A: To the best of my memory (this kitchen was part of the San Francisco Design Center Idea House promotions done over 15 years ago) the flooring is Amtico brand.  It was supplied by CEM Associates. **Q: what are the dimensions of the window and dimensions of the total back wall** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello-
This was a kitchen installed for an Idea House in the San Francisco Design Center over ten years ago so I don't have the plans anymore.  As I recall (and trying to remember what we installed) the room is about 15 feet wide (the back wall).  The window is about ten feet wide.  I hope that this is enough information to help you.
