Timeless Craftsmanship. Enduring Performance.

For over 25 years, Eco Custom Homes has built and renovated Atlanta’s most distinguished residences and restaurants — from custom estates to celebrated spaces like Muchacho, Koshu Club, and Victory Brands. We don’t build to code. We build to last.

Every project is guided by the same discipline: uncompromising craftsmanship, honest communication, and a clear vision carried from first sketch to final walkthrough. While others sell beautiful finishes, we believe in measurable quality — testing and documenting what’s behind the walls, not just what’s in front of them. We study the leading building-science and high-performance programs in the industry — LEED, EarthCraft, Passive House, and beyond — and quietly build the best of what we learn into every home, renovation, and commercial project, whether or not you ever ask for it by name. The result is a space that’s just as striking to live in on day one as it is to own for the next twenty years.

If you’re planning a project that needs to perform as beautifully in year twenty as it does on day one, we’d welcome the conversation.

> We live in the Oakhurst area of Decatur and our house will be 100 years old this August. We hired Eco to do our most recent renovation which consisted of redefining our downstairs master suite and guest bath as well as adding a second story and carport. Both Jeff and Zach were wonderful to work with. Jeff is the paperwork and numbers guy, outlining the whole project in a organized and detailed software program "Co-Construct". With this program, it was easy to track the order in which the renovation elements would occur. Zach is the guy you see everyday on site, making sure that all is going according to plan. Their crew of Sammy, Gustavo and Justin were always accommodating and courteous (and entertaining!).
>
> Being cautious throughout the process, I would often ask for mock ups of how something might look. More often than not, Zach and his crew would oblige. One example in particular was our new stairway. I had salvaged the staircase railings and banisters from my grandmother's circa 1820 row house in Gettysburg, PA. and wanted to reuse them. They were able to provide a mock up so I could see how it would "fit" before we actually proceeded with installation. It ended up being a beautiful combination of original and custom-matched reproduction pieces.
>
> There were many things that made the renovation challenging but I always felt like I was in good hands with Jeff and Zach. The job was completed in about 7 months (as planned) and pretty much on target budget-wise. Overall, it was a positive experience and I will refer Eco to anybody and everybody. I wish I had another renovation so that we could work together again!

> I have used Eco Custom homes for 2 remodeling projects and have been very pleased with the results. The first time we embarked on a complete home renovation that took about 4 months. Most recently we completed a home addition with Eco as well. These guys are very hands-on and were managing the project every step of the way. I particularly like that they bring creative solutions to problems as well as an aesthetic of a decorator. I was able to complete both projects without hiring a design eye as Zach Smith is better than most I have worked with. Jeff is very detailed and particularly knowledgeable from an engineering and coding standpoint. These guys are big picture, timely and cost effective. I'd use them again.

> EcoCustomHomes did an amazing job on our big renovation last year. Jeff Dinkle and Zach Smith are very professional, and also have the very highest level of expertise in the area of high performance, "green" building., if that is what you are looking for. They did the job on time, and were always very responsive. Highly recommended! Love the reclaimed wood floors that they put in!

> The owners Jeff and Zach are professional, smart and kind. I am a realtor with Sitheby's and a client. My clients are always so pleased with their work. This picture does not do them justice as their work is on a much larger scale. You will not be disappointed with them at all!!

**★★★★★ — diesel202, Sept. 2012**

> These guys were great, we did a whole house remodel and couldn't be happier. We have done other projects with different builders in the past and were reluctant to take on such a large project. It was so refreshing to work with a builder that truly understood what we wanted from a design aspect and were able to execute within a tight budget and timeframe. They completed the job a few weeks ahead of time and the quality is top notch. We wont be doing any more remodeling for a long time but when we do we will definitely be calling ECO. Thanks so much guys! We love our new home.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**How much does it cost to build a luxury custom homes in Atlanta?**
Luxury custom home construction costs in Atlanta vary significantly based on architecture, site conditions, structural complexity, windows and doors, mechanical systems, interior finishes and performance requirements. Rather than relying on a generic cost-per-square-foot number, Eco Custom Homes develops progressively more detailed budgets during schematic design, design development and construction documents so that design and budget remain aligned.

**What Areas around Atlanta does Eco Custom Homes serve?**
Eco Custom Homes serves homeowners throughout the greater Atlanta area, including Buckhead,
Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Vinings, Chastain Park, East Cobb, Milton, Roswell,
Alpharetta, Decatur, and surrounding communities. We specialize in luxury custom homes, major
renovations, additions, and select boutique commercial projects throughout Metro Atlanta.

**Why do custom home construction costs vary so much?**
The size of a home is only one factor in construction cost. Architecture, structural complexity, site conditions, window and door selections, mechanical systems, finish materials, and the level of craftsmanship all play a significant role. Two homes with the same square footage can differ substantially in cost depending on their design and performance goals. During pre-construction, Eco Custom Homes develops detailed budgets that help clients understand where their investment
is being made.

**What is high-performance construction?**
High-performance construction goes beyond aesthetics. It focuses on creating a home that is more energy efficient, comfortable, durable, and healthy to live in. This includes proper air sealing, continuous insulation, advanced moisture management, quality window installation, efficient HVAC
design, and attention to building science throughout construction. The result is a home with lower operating costs, improved indoor air quality, and performance that lasts for decades.

**How long does it take to build a custom home in Atlanta?**
Most luxury custom homes require approximately 12 to 18 months from groundbreaking to completion, depending on the home’s size, architectural complexity, permitting, weather, and
material lead times. The overall timeline also includes design development and pre-construction planning, making early collaboration with your builder one of the best ways to keep a project on schedule.
