> Brad and I can’t express our gratitude and our appreciation enough for the work that Martha did for us.  We were somewhat new to Central Oregon, amidst the covid pandemic and decided to undertake an extensive remodel of our vacation home making into our forever home.  I did some research on Houzz and narrowed my prospects down to three designers, Martha being one of them.   I happened to go into Bend Furniture and Design where I was given a glowing recommendation of Martha.  Martha met with Brad and I and honestly at first we had a very general idea of what we wanted and thankfully for Martha asking the right questions and giving us insight.  Martha gave us a great recommendation for a general contractor, one that worked great with both her, Brad and I.   Martha and I had a great working relationship.  Covid made it difficult to make selections without appointments.  We were living in Hillsboro driving back and forth to the high desert so it was imperative to utilize time.  Martha made it so easy.  She is incredibly talented, has impeccable taste, high standards, and is one of the most honest people I know.   I also feel like I can contact her and bounce an idea off of her even after our remodel has been completed.  I value her advice.

We asked around town - friends that had remodeled, friends of friends (even a few architects) for a recommendation. Martha was at the top of the list. She quickly grasped our vision and helped us choose a contractor, offering several compatible possibilities. Because of this coordination, she became an important advocate for us throughout the entire job. Her space, design and color sensibilities are excellent. She helped open the blinders to ideas we never would have considered. She’s fun to work with but also no nonsense when it was necessary to keep us on track. It was really surprising to learn what a small percentage of the total remodel budget an interior designer requires. It could have never happened without Martha's guidance and encouragement and we know we would have ended up with a darker color scheme  which would have deprived us  of the open and bright feeling our kitchen has. The project was completed in 5 weeks which is a record for this kind of remodel work.
