We provide a few other landscaping services too, but our main passion and specialty is in the water garden industry. You wouldn't hire your Chiropractor to do your taxes would you? Then why hire any "jack of all trades" landscaping company to build your water feature? We feel that companies who claim to do everything, are usually experts in nothing and it's common that we fix a lot of their poorly installed water features. From designing a proper infrastructure that doesn't leak, to having the understanding how water will look cascading from a boulder, we make sure our features are built right and our customers are served right! Originally from St. Louis, brothers Dan and Kevin Stanza grew up in the landscaping industry, helping their contractor dad, Glenn. Dan and Kevin assisted with basic tasks such as weeding beds, planting shrubs, and spreading mulch. But once they helped build their first pond, inspiration took hold. The part-time chore sparked a full-time passion for water features. After graduating college, Dan lived in numerous cities before establishing in Kansas City. Dan blew them out of the water! I am not a design savy person and have a difficult time explaining what it is I want (since I can't actually see it in my own head), but Dan was very attentive and came up with a great design for my yard that I would never have been able to do on my own. He completely nailed it! We had to split the project into phases, and phase 1 was completed in mid May. They completed the work all the same day. I actually had to leave prior to completion, but when I returned, everything looked amazing. The project was completed exactly as the design, clean up was done, and they even did a little extra clean up/weeding in another bed that wasn't even part of this phase. The whole team worked very hard and everyone was very professional. I cannot wait to have the remaining phases completed. During the process they accidentally hit our sprinkler drip line which the also repaired for us at no charge. A: Frank, in Kansas City this is called a chopped 3"-4" (thick) wall stone. I believe the rock yard we bought it from calls it Indian Sunset, but it often gets rebranded under other names. **Q: What is the diameter of the circle of pavers** *(in Photo Questions)* This circle of pavers looks like just the size we want.
