Pictures were taken and it is clearly off level. I realize this needs to be corrected but am unsure if I should have the contractor fix it (already had to completely redo the tile) or he can reimburse $$ and I have someone else repair. Any idea what this would cost? The grout is cracking along the same line as well. Your opinion is appreciated. A: I am so sorry that you have to address this. I would not have the same person out to do this repair if you have already had multiple issues with the quality of their work, but would definitely ask for a reimbursement. Please be sure to research who you hire to do any work by verifying that they are a legitimate business, registered in the state, and get a certificate of insurance directly from their insurance company, and ask for references too. I wish you the very best going forward. **Q: kitchen hardware need to be the same size on a same side?** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi, We selected tab pulls hardware for our kitchen. In some places we have drawers that are different width , on a same side of the kitchen. What is best to do? 1\. Pick one size that works best for all 2\. Each size drawer or cabinet has its own pull size. On this picture for example, on one side of the cooktop, the drawers are 28 wide and on the other side, 24 inches. I have an other side of kitchen where drawers are 24 wide and 18 wide. A: Hello. I think you could do either really. If you can find drawer pulls in the same family, in two different lengths, you could put the longer ones on the wider drawers, and the smaller pulls on the smaller drawers, or just use the same size pulls on all of them, but I think the first option would be best. Good luck to you! **Q: How to place wrong facing sectional** *(in Furniture)* We have a right hand five piece Radley fabric sectional from Macy’s that doesn’t fit right in our new living room. Can you guys please recommend a way to make it work. Where should it face towar? Having it face the fire place seems to block the flow of the room A: Fireplaces make a wonderful focal point for the living room sitting area! There is nothing wrong with that at all! Other than that, you might try to remove one of the 5 pieces in the sectional to see if that works for you. Use that piece in another space. **Q: Furniture Arrangement Help Please :)** *(in Home Decorating)* Hello! I am struggling with furniture arrangement for my living room. I purchased a new sofa (sofa with bolsters) and am getting rid of the old sofa (sofa under the gold mirror). What should I put where the old sofa is now? Maybe a loveseat or two chairs? That wall is 122" long. The fireplace hearth juts out 22" deep x 64" long so it is hard for me to work around that. Do you think a coffee table or ottoman would work best? Is a rug needed? So many decisions! I would love for your input on what this room needs to bring it to the next level and if I'm on the right path. I am thinking of moving that mirror to over my dining room table. Corner fireplace -hearth is 22"deep x 64" wide A: Sunshine, you could definitely put two chairs opposite your new sofa (great choice!). This would allow people to converse eye to eye. Would be a good balance. You have plenty of space there. A rug large enough to fit under the chairs and sofa would really warm up the space. Its a soft gold metallic color. **Q: Paint or remove built ins?** *(in Design Dilemma)* We are closing on this house soon. I do not like the built ins (they are a little too traditional for me), and I hate the color. Should I have them removed? Or paint them? The shelves are not adjustable (ugh), but a carpenter said he could adapt them. FYI: this is not my furniture.
