They worked closely with us from the purchase of the lot, through the design of our dream home, to its completion. Everyone with whom we worked was talented, professional and creative. It was clear to us that everyone we met at this company was happy and liked working together, and they all showed great pride in their work. Because the company employs their own framing and finish carpenters, they can better control the quality of the final product which allows them to build truly special homes - their attention to detail and work product is impeccable. Once they broke ground, the crew was on the job every day, and were more than willing to talk through our questions and get our feedback on whatever they were working on (we owe a special shout out to Justin and Greg who worked in the coldest of cold days on our home!). The principals, Chris and Jeff, did a better job at staying on budget than we did, and always considered the cost of implementation during both the design and construction phases. And the cabinetry - beautiful and beautifully crafted - it is an incredible advantage to have custom cabinetry available as an integral part of the company and the project. Building a home can be a stressful thing to accomplish, but Mighty Roots earned our trust early and they made the process of designing and building a custom energy star rated home fun. We had an addition adding a 2nd story bedroom and a kitchen annex / family room remodel. They did a fantastic job with exceptional quality and attention to detail. Love their commitment to eco-friendly design and build. The crew showed up on time and once the work started they were there every day, all day, until the job was done. Very nice, clean and respectful crew. Costs were laid out up front and were clear and specific. We had weekly meetings to go over all the details of the project, change orders and costs. At the end of the job, we were given an organized binder with all the receipts for every item purchased, subcontractors parts and labor, and copies of all payments.
