> Paid our $3,500 dollars for site visit and designing.  Communication was AWFUL. We felt like we were on the back burner through the entire process. WEEKS would pass with ZERO contact. We just wanted to have a clue what was happening, where we were in the process, etc. Months into the process, I contacted Tracen directly with a concern about the lack of communication.  He was immediately snippy and combative before hearing the true history.  He certainly didn’t have a problem snapping at me but we found it interesting that he had a different tone with my husband. Not cool. Little did Tracen know, although my husband and I make all big decisions together, I’m the major breadwinner. Be careful Tracen... you need to know your audience.  Bottom line, Reclaimed Space is WAY overpriced for the product.  We wasted $3,500 and lots of precious time.  We figured that if the communication was THAT poor during the designing phase, the rest of the process would be a nightmare.
> We ended up spending 255k on a much better option.  We highly recommend Ulrich cabins - completely customizable and unique.  Seriously, don’t just look at the online photos, take the time to visit their Cleburne location to see the quality of product, process, and to witness good customer service (Brian was our designer).  Ulrich Cabins FAR outweighs Reclaimed Space.  If anybody doubts this review, I’ve got the text trails and emails to back it all up. Buyer beware.

> I was searching for a builder for a little (not tiny) house when I found Reclaimed Space.  Tracen, Mackey and their team designed and built a home for me using timbers from a 150 yr.-old Kentucky barn, corrugated steel from an old Texas silo, and beautiful reclaimed pine floors.  The house also has custom tile and new cabinetry that achieved the clean, contemporary aesthetic I was looking for.  The Reclaimed Space folks have been great to work with and I LOVE my new home.
