## Community Q&A

**Q: Window Treatment** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Please help with window treatment for my home office. Pictures attached. The ceiling is vaulted and pretty high.  How and should I put to dress window up. Should it be blinds and curtains or just Roman shades? I love curtains and I love Roman shades.  I would like to make sure that the height of the ceiling visually isn't Shortened. Thank you for suggestions.

A: I would go with drapes on a beautiful rod mounted close to the ceiling to show off the height. Hand drawn grommet panels are my favorite but can be awkward to use on a daily basis. I would add working Romans installed inside the window frame to give you light control and privacy. Good luck. You have a beautiful room to work with.
