I purchased an entry foyer chandelier…our electricians hung it up only to discover that it was completely defective (4 lights werent working and the wires were all mixed up). I told the store that you gave me a defective unit and it needed to be replaced. I also told them that my electricians are going to charge me to remove the broken unit and hang up the new one. The store sent me a new unit and said we will “work with you to help cover the electrician fees”. > > A few weeks later , Jeff (the sales rep) said they can’t help with the fees and that I should contact his manager Gary to discuss further. I emailed and called Gary a number of times and didn’t hear back once. zero acknowledgment, zero answers, zero help. I reached out to Jeff again who completely stopped answering me. Now I’m out of pocket an extra $300 because they sold me a defective unit. Terrible customer service. The lamps that were delivered were the wrong finish, not what I ordered. In fact, the lamps as delivered were not even available on the manufacturer's website when the special order was placed. Neither Lighting Superstore nor the manufacturer, Troy Lighting, has accepted responsibility and I have been told that I will be responsible for the cost of shipping the two lamps -- more than 60 lbs. -- back to the manufacturer. What should we do with the back wall? Unless you're sitting at the table, the chandelier covers the view of most of the wall. I was thinking of making it a gallery wall. Would that be too busy?
