## Community Q&A

**Q: Beautiful room!  I especially love the ceiling.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me how you achieved the subtle color on the ceiling planks?  Thank you.

A: Thank you!  it is one of my faborite projects!  the ceiling is made up of 2”x4” wood planks, painted with a thin white wash finish.  Glad you like it.

**Q: What color of yellow ( or similar) do you use through the house?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Maybe look at Sherwin Williams Devine White. It has a tan undertone that would look with your floors and couch. My favorite paint is Farrow and Ball.  You can see their colors online too. Not sure what lint companies you have near you like Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Behr.

**Q: Tile and cabinet molding?** *(in Home Decorating)*

I would like to put this Idol Tear tile all the way to the ceiling. Will the tiler be able to make these intricate cuts?

A: I agree with Affirming Kitchen Clarity.  Installing stainless or  white with molding would finish it off nicely. Mathew Vosburg - Affirming Kitchen Clarity builds amazingly beautiful kitchens!

**Q: Is this a prefinished wood floor? If so, who makes it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This is a prefinished floor.  It's an engineered wood - European/Siberian Oak product.  There are different price options and manufacturers.  I would start at your local flooring store with California Classics or Provenza.  They both offer good options.  The width and lengths vary.  I prefer 6"-8" wide boards when available. If you live on a basement, you can use a solid wood instead but it's more expensive.  I hope this information helped!

**Q: Siberian Oak Floors: Do you have the manufacturer, Series and color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I’m sorry for the delayed response!  They dont make this exact name and color, but look at California Classic Mediterranean Collection, California CPassaic French Oak Gem MC8, wire brushed 8” wide planks, random lengths up to 78”.

Depending on where you live, I can send you a sample of the wood and if you like it, have it shipped to you.

**Q: Shower window** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can we get a picture of the whole shower? Where did the window come from?

A: Hi there.  I'm sorry that I don't have a bigger picture and can't get back into the property since it sold.  There were multiple unsolicited offers on this house!

The window was simply an arched opening that I had a custom piece of stain glass made to fit it.  The backside of that window is the hallway into the master suite.
