Sent installers who didn’t know what they were doing. When I complained windows were installed crooked, leaking, and didn’t lock I was told it was the factory that made defective windows. When the representative came from the factory they said it was an installment issue. Windows were put in and not capped off with siding. I called the bank and suggested they do not give loans out to this company to finance people. They never returned to fix the problem , and to this day I have uncapped leaky crooked windows that don’t lock . I would not recommend them at all. In fact I should have brought them to court. Horrible sloppy job, no accountability. BEWARE ! **★ — STEPHANIE NARDOZA, Jan. 2018** > DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY. I purchased siding from this company which has a lifetime warranty. I piece of siding came off the front of the house and there is a piece on the side that is pushed out. This was on September 14, 2017. I have called and sent multiple emails for the company to come out and replace it. I did have someone call me back a few months ago that said they did not have anyone who would be working in the area any time soon. I told them they needed to come fix it and it could not wait until someone was "in the area." He said he would call back and never did. It now has been almost 5 months and I have had no contact after repeated attempts to get this replaced. **★ — RACHID BB, Sept. 2017** > Extremely unsatisfied. $2800 sliding patio door turned out to be a nightmare. The door quality is solid and very sturdy. However, the service has been so poor that this has been going on since March of 2017. > It started out with a very bad unprofessional finish. I called to complain and they sent someone without notice when no one was home. The door was not sealed so cold air was obviously getting inside . > Finally, door screen came off when a wheel broke off. It has been sitting in the backyard for the last three months. > When I call Nationwide, I get referred to production. Upon completion, the window opener/crank was faulty. I called them the day of completion and the production manager informed me that they are sending someone to change the crank. Though out the summer, I could not open my window . I have been calling and sending mails to Nation Wide windows for the past five months, but their response is either someone will get back to me or they are looking at the issue. On two occasions, the customer service manager hang up the phone on me. They took full payment and has refused to complete my window. At as the time of filing this report, no one is getting in touch with me and I cannot utilize my window.. > Desired Resolution: Replacement **★ — carol hallman, July 2017** > I had 4 window replacements on 4/11/2014...All was ok except for this June when I noticed that I had a lot of bugs coming in under screen. There is a plastic strip where there is a space that ends between the right and left screen. I had two exterminators come. They advised me to put tape across bottom of screens. I sent Nationwide window a complaint and a picture but no response. The sales process was a very positive non-stressful experience and we believe we received a very favorable and competitive price. They come to you and show you the product and how it works. > We had all of our windows (Original from 1972) replaced with Double hung windows in one day. They go from window to window. Out with the old in with the new. They even cleaned up the debris as if they weren’t even there.
