Shipping was slow and customer service non-responsive even with big ticket items. We believed that we could do much better by offering these same high quality products at better prices, with much better service, and it was at that moment that BathtubsPlus.com was born! We are ok with the fact that there are internet 'giants' selling many of these same products online, and it doesn't bother us at all to be the underdog. We ordered a bathtub from this company, they claimed the item was in stock but it still took over a month to receive the item. When it came in it was damaged, they were responsive at this time and scheduled to have the freight company pick the tub back up and claimed I would receive a refund since I did not have time to wait for another tub to be delivered. I waited a week for the refund, thinking they would give it to me once the tub was returned. After no refund was seen I called and left them a message (you will never talk to anyone in person with this company) I then emailed them and they said they would process the refund right away. This was three weeks ago. I have left numerous voice mails and sent about 10 emails asking about my refund and have received no response. I even warned them that if they did not respond to my last email I would get my credit card company involved and have them get my money back for me and start writing bad reviews. So here we are, they did not respond so I am just stating what kind of company they are. I would not recommend using this company for anything. When I messaged them about it they promptly responded and promised me a full refund on Dec 7th. It is now 23 days later and I haven't seen the refund. I have sent several emails and I call everyday and they won't respond or call back. Maybe they are out for the holidays? But 3 weeks without a response is unacceptable by any standards. However I wish to replace the chrome drain it comes with, with a matte black drain. Are you able to supply me with one, and if I have to shop elsewhere, what specifications should I be looking for? A: Hello - I am sorry but this manufacturer only offers a drain in chrome. You may be able to unscrew the tip toe drain and bring it to a plumbing supply house. They may be able to match up the threads with something else. But we do not know any specific dimensions related to that. Glad you like the tub. The plumber will have a hard time hooking up the pumping in between the inner and outer shell. A floor mount or wall mount faucet is recommended. Thanks! We include an inline friction heater with the tub, but that will only maintain temperature and not rewarm the water.
