You added many ideas about removing walls and changing things that required LICENSED trade professionals or a GENERAL CONTRACTOR with their MHIC license to perform the labor we discussed. In this trade, the best contractors I work with are typically 3-6 months out with work already contracted and booked. I also was under the impression there was no hurry, as you mentioned doing this as potential spring-summer project, next year. > As an independent small business operator, I must prioritize the work I process based on the timing of the actual project. When a kitchen is demolished out and people are living without functional spaces, those customers must be tended to asap, versus a client that is in the beginning planning stages and don't need the actual cabinets for 6-12 months later. This is where you were impacted negatively and I apologize that I did not make your project a priority over others. > I did collect a check for $350, which you did a stop payment on and received all monies back. Therefore technically you received a 2+ hour consult (+2 hours of driving for me) for free where I should be paid $150 for the service I provided in reviewing the project even without providing an actual 3-D CAD design. As for not getting back to you, the next step was to wait for my design, to which I apologize I didn't get to you in a timely manner. I am happy to correct the situation if allowed, however I can only design, supply the cabinets, and have them installed for you, but don't have a team that can travel out of area to do your overall construction part of the project. If you have a Contractor or trade professionals to handle the labor aspect of the job, I can still create a lovely design and order cabinets for your remodel. In regards to the excuses, yes, life is fast, busy and at times stressful. I will be sure to correct this, as to not leave you or anyone left unanswered or unattended. Bottom line I've been taking care of customers that don't have a functioning home or kitchen and was very busy in that.
