> We hired Gonzalez Painters and Contractors Inc. to repaint the exterior of our two story farm house.  Unfortunately, we DID NOT get the “A” team to perform this work.  A sub-contractor was assigned.  The crew leader, Victor, did not lead his team to success.  Instead, Victor spent a lot of time on-site sitting in his van.  Another day he performed automotive work for 2 hours on a vehicle that came on-site (private property I might add).  This vehicle and person was not associated with or part of the paint crew.  Towards the end of this job, Victor placed his personal business magnet on his van and recorded a video that he posted on his personal business social media (TikTok) account taking full credit for the work (again private property).

> Needless to say, at the final inspection/walk through of this job, this crew leader’s lack of attention, poor quality of work, or care revealed a good portion of the scope of work was incomplete.  There was also areas of overspray.  Gonzalez sent the same sub-crew back out to address what had not been done.  The overspray was not corrected.

> Gonzalez’s management did make efforts to make things right with this job and ended up extending to us a fair discount to compensate for the overspray.  It was in our best interest to accept the discount and move on.

> Overall, Gonzalez Painters and Contractors Inc. does have management that responds appropriately to situations like this, but unfortunately, the skill level of the crew Gonzalez sent to perform this job did not match the GPC-Way or Gonzalez’s strong marketing campaign. > Gonzalez did our ENTIRE house in hardy board and did a fantastic job. Everyone was really nice and communicative along the way. The end result was really clean and we are really happy to be rid of old Masonite. The painting was also fantastic. They were the best people we have ever worked with. I wish they did everything for repairs on the inside because I would t want to work with anyone else. For all of our paint/ outdoor projects I will call them and recommend them.

> Disappointed. All these great reviews didn’t translate to a great job. 3 rooms plus a hallway, including ceilings and trim quoted at $1800 for 2-3 days work. After first day was told they didn’t realize the walls would need a third coat. They finished before the end of the second day. Clean up was minimal. Lots of drips, sloppy around fixtures. I was told my
> concerns were being forwarded to “operations.” After a full day,they arrived to “fix things” but mostly said it wasn’t their fault and only partially addressed their mess. We still have paint to clean up on windows, fixtures, furniture and floors. They also didn’t patch everything as promised and painted door knobs and hinges. Total cost over $3000 for only 3 rooms.  Very expensive. Way too much money for the mess and touch up that still has to be addressed. Lots of excuses but not a lot of professionalism. Brand new shower head has paint all over it. Spots were missed. They even left a faint trail of paint drips on our front mat and down the brick steps.Now we are behind schedule and over budget. We also provided our own paint but were never credited. Very disappointing experience.
