> HQR, and specifically our project manager Amir Levy, was so good that this is the first time I have wished I could leave a 6-star review. I'll give specifics below, but the bottom line is that they are honest and reliable, they communicate well, and they do incredibly high-quality work on even complicated projects.
>
> We hired HQR to demolish an unpermitted addition that was built by the previous owners, then build a new legal addition in its place. The new addition needed to connect two different existing rooflines and intersected multiple load-bearing walls.
>
> Highlights:
> (1) This was our first time doing a major remodel, and we had a lot to learn. Amir went above and beyond helping us identify and resolve potential problems early, patiently answering all of our questions, and explaining our options when a decision needed to be made.
>
> (2) Once we had architectural drawings, HQR gave us a quote and stuck to it. Over the entire lifetime of the project, HQR never once added an unreasonable surprise fee. There were also a few extras we voluntarily added to the scope, such as updating our guest bath and creating a laundry closet, and HQR always gave us reasonable prices for adding them.
>
> (3) Amir aimed for perfection as if this were his own house. If a mistake was ever made by HQR or one of their subcontractors, Amir had it fixed quickly, no questions asked. The end result is a beautiful addition that looks exactly as we had imagined it.
>
> Finally, we learned a really important lesson on this project. We hired our own architect before meeting HQR, and this was a mistake. Using a separate architect created a lot of headaches for us and ultimately ended up costing us more money and delays than if we had used an architect hired by HQR. We plan to hire HQR again in a few years to redo our kitchen, and we will definitely use their in-house architects and designers for that project.

> I could not recommend Home Quality Remodeling enough! Ron's team was so kind, helpful and very professional. One of our front windows of our fitness studio had be shattered into pieces by an unknown person passing by. We were devastated, who would do such a thing? Luckily our prayers where answered and were put into contact with Ron and his team. And viola! Window is now fixed! Thank you so much.

> We hired HQR for a mid-sized bathroom remodeling project. I have nothing but good things to say about this contractor. The work was done in a timely manner, on budget and with high quality. At every step of the way, I felt like they had our best interests in mind. They would keep us informed about the work they were doing, and frequently ask for our input on matters that would impact the end-result. Rafi was our project manager, and he was fantastic to work with - always trying to problem solve, and was a really positive and pleasant person to deal with. I would highly recommend working with HQR.

**★★★★★ — Christi Opitz, Dec. 2020**

> Highest marks for HQR.
>
> I contacted Rafi (Project Manager) after a disastrous experience with another contractor, who left us with a brand-new, leaking shower they refused to fix. Folks, very few contractors will step in and fix someone else's mess: it's just too much of a headache. But Rafi agreed to help us, thank goodness. He was delightful to work with and actually became a friend in the process. Having your house ripped up months after you've just completed a job is pretty traumatic: Rafi understood this and was really patient with our anxiety and all our questions. After he removed the faulty shower, he insisted that we test for mold to be thorough. I really didn't think this would be a problem after just a few months of leaking, but lo and behold, he was right. We had mold. Rafi helped us get it remediated quickly and then rebuilt our bathroom. He gave me a lot of good design advice in the process which the other contractor never bothered to do. Rafi is committed every step of the way to getting the job done RIGHT.
>
> We are not just thankful for the good job HQR did, we are indebted to Rafi for taking on this very challenging project and making us smile at a really difficult time. Thank you HQR!

**★★★★★ — Dylan Rogers, Nov. 2020**

> Shelly helped me find quality subcontractors right when I needed them most for a remodel project. She has an extensive construction background that will navigate the home owner through any challenge. Most importantly she loves to have fun throughout the process!

**★★★★★ — HU-40485390, March 2020**

> My husband and I were forced into an unexpected restoration on our home - due to a burst water pipe under the slab floor.
>
> We had 3 companies bidding for the job, including Avi Edri a Project Manager from Home Quality Remodeling.
>
> Right from the start, we knew we wanted to work with Avi and his team. He was very knowledgeable, confident and reassuring. Avi's communication skills throughout the whole process were exceptional. He encourages clients to reach out to him with any concerns or questions. Even when we could not immediately contact him he would manage to respond within 5 to 10 minutes. He's incredibly driven and offered multiple solutions to any problems or concerns we came across. He's flexible and detail-oriented. Avi had our backs every step of the way. We felt like Avi cared about our project as if it was his own property. He was able to finish the project one day before he told us it would be complete.
>
> The HQR construction team lead by Miguel made what was once a mess beautiful again. Seamless drywall repair, gorgeous flooring, and paint were all on point and done with care. Simply put Avi and the crew at HQR care. If the customer is not happy, they are not happy. Avi is not only an exceptional Project Manager but he's also an incredible human being. Highly recommended! Thank you, Avi and team, at Home Quality Remodeling!

> My wife and I couldn't be happier with our choice of HQR for our remodeling project. (We are currently towards the end of the planning process and have just pulled permits.) Our project manager, Eddie Stolik, has been simply outstanding. Truly, it has taken us 4 years of talking to various contractors, architects, and designers before we found the confidence to move ahead after meeting with Eddie. He is a wellspring of ideas and solutions as well as super-responsive in the many communications that go into planning a project such as ours. Eddie has also brought with him and managed so adeptly a great team of talented individuals.

**★★★★★ — Lisa Mann, Jan. 2020**

> We remodelled a bathroom with HQR and the workmanship and communication were excellent. Eddie Stolack ( project manager), Luis Cardoza (foreman), and crew all showed great attention to detail that we really appreciated. We ran into some hiccups (not unexpected in a 40-year old bathroom), but Eddie communicated clearly and solved the issues that arose. They finished ahead of schedule and it looks beautiful.

**★★★★★ — H trevisan, Jan. 2020**

> Great communication and work. Or project manager was Eddie and he was great. They did a bath remodel for us, not a huge job but still made us a priority. They helped with everything including the shopping. The job was done well within the time expected and is better than I though it could be. I would hire them again. Thanks!

**★★★★★ — Zack Onisko, May 2019**

> Ron and crew did a complete remodel of my house that might as well be a new build. They built an 800+ sq ft addition in the back of the house while my family and I lived in the existing house. When they finished the addition, my family (wife, 4-year-old and 1-year-old) moved into the addition and Ron's crew completely demoed the interior walls of the existing house and built new rooms. They put on a new roof, new exterior, new floors, new everything. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but they finished 3 months ahead of schedule! A lot of things could have gone horribly wrong living in a house with a young family while construction was going on, but Ron's team handled every issue with care and consideration. I highly recommend Home Quality Remodeling for any project, large or small! We couldn't be happier with our new home.

**★★★★★ — Nick J, Feb. 2019**

> Home Quality Remodeling (HQR) came through for my family big-time. We had some work done on the house previously but, for one reason or another, the contractor decided to stop showing up. We had four or five general contractors bid the job of finishing the house but we chose Home Quality Remodeling because they seemed honest, they were understanding after our negative experience with the prior contractor, and they were also reasonable. Also, we called up several references who vouched for HQR's competence.
>
> We dealt mostly with Ronnie at HQR and he was a great resource. He was always willing to explain any detail or discuss any changes (and as someone going through this process for the first time, his patience was appreciated), and he also took care of the permits without issue.
>
> There were a few bumps along the road, as I suspect there often are in these types of jobs. The tile guy accidentally sawed through the bathroom wall, the door jamb somehow got damaged, there were some minor scuffs on the floor, and the roman tub spout had to be replaced because some stupid person (...me) thought it would be a good idea to try to unscrew it. HQR took responsibility for any mistakes, though, as well as fixing my gaffes.
>
> The job overall did take awhile to finish but I can't hold HQR accountable for that. It was my first experience doing this and I suspect I got in the way more than I should have. If I could offer a suggestion to anyone looking to update or remodel their house, it would be to choose and purchase EVERYTHING at the start and then to just let the contractor do his or her work (but knowing what "everything" is can be tricky!).
>
> Now, after the dust has settled, I'm very happy with the finished product. I would recommend HQR for anyone looking for a contractor that not only actually finishes the job but takes pride in their work. I plan on hiring them in the future for any other projects that come up.

**★★★★★ — Dafra Sanou, Jan. 2019**

> This is review is such a pleasure for me to write. Ronnie and his crew did magic in our home, and they were the most trustworthy, smart, kind and respectful team ever. They were not our cheapest option, but read on to know why cheap may not always be best :D
>
> After getting our plans done with our architect in March, we were itching to get started with our bathroom project; we ideally wanted it to be done by the summer because we had a big trip planned over a few weeks. We hired a contractor (NOT HQR), who gave us a timeline to start... and then blew past it, with little to no communication. After 2 months of delay (and them always turning our pleas to start the project into little jokes), we severed our ties with them and were back to square one, with an additional heaping spoonful of frustration.
>
> Not one to be defeated, my husband heard of BuildZoom and ended up requesting quotes for our project. HQR replied, as well as a couple other contractors. I clicked with Ronnie and his teammate immediately (unbeknownst to them, because I likely did not sound very nice that day) and told my husband I would be working with no one else. That feeling was reinforced by the fact that one of their Yelp reviews was from a gentleman who was gone the whole duration of the project, but had still come home to perfectly executed work. Yep, we had a winner.
>
> Only issue: their quote was much higher than the one we had before. After really negotiating with them, they agreed to work with us a bit. We definitely still had to invest more than we planned, but I can tell you now we do not regret it.
>
> Ronnie gave us a date immediately after we signed the contract, and we were slated to start 2 weeks later. Here is the funny part: we were so used to lies and fake deadlines from our previous contractor that we actually forgot... and chaos ensued when Ronnie texted us 2 days before the start date to ask if we were ready (WE WERE NOT). We proceeded to move our poor parents ASAP (they were visiting), empty the room next to the bathroom and prep for the crew's arrival in a couple days. It was epic.
>
> Work started as planned, and moved super fast. We only ran into delays when waiting for inspectors; otherwise everything was smooth. Ronnie's crew helped get materials (we were traveling for over half of the project, so we made WhatsApp work for it), pick up fixtures, schedule appointments with inspectors, and just everything that was needed for the project to be completed on time. They even gave us a referral for the glass enclosure for the shower.
>
> Our project was completed in less time than scheduled, and I want to mention that Ronnie was also on vacation for some of it; crew kept moving with no issues at all.
>
> Thanks HQR (especially Ronnie and Eilio) for our bathroom; working with you was such a pleasure, and we will recommend you to anyone who comes our way!
>
> (the cartoonish photo is the design we had agreed on with our tile provider)
