It never failed every weekend it was mandatory that I accompanied him to his open houses. A key factor that I still remember was him advising his clients in ways to bring up their home value. A cost effective way to do so was to add a little landscaping and definitely a fresh coat of paint inside and out. I've been personally involved in the painting trade since the tender age of 16. I spent my time as a teen learning the trade from the inside out by starting at the bottom and working my way to managing jobs as a foreman. Upon graduating with a degree in business management I decided wholeheartedly to create Dan Madrid's Custom Coating. We employ a consistent staff of professional journeyman painters. Our pride in the finished products translates to complete satisfaction for our clients. We pride ourselves in the number of repeat customers year after year. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to you contacting us to beautify your project and keep us in mind for your future painting endeavors. ### Services Provided - Interior Painting - Exterior Painting - Ceiling Painting - Door Painting - Deck Staining - Color Consulting - Popcorn Ceiling Removal - Drywall Repair - Cabinet Refinishing - Paint Removal - Drywall Texturing - Plaster Repair - Garage Floor Refinishing - Wall Texture Removal - Plastering - Painting ### Areas Served - Anaheim - Riverside - Santa Ana - Irvine - Huntington Beach - Garden Grove - Corona - Fullerton - Orange - Costa Mesa - Mission Viejo - Westminster - Whittier - Newport Beach - Lake Forest - Buena Park - Tustin - Eastvale - Yorba Linda - Laguna Niguel - La Habra - Fountain Valley - Placentia - Cypress - La Mirada - Brea - Stanton - San Juan Capistrano - Dana Point - Norco - North Tustin - Loma Linda - Laguna Beach - Laguna Woods - Woodcrest - Coto De Caza - Grand Terrace - East La Mirada - Villa Park - Alisa Viejo - All Southern California - Anaheim Hills - Friendly Hills - Newport Coast - Orange Acres ### Typical Job Cost $5,000 - 100,000 We offer a truly HIGH-CALIBER finish, Therefore we tend to be slightly more expensive than other painting companies. ## Business Details | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Business Name | Madrid’s Painting | | Address | Orange, California 92865, United States | | Phone | (562) 818-2457 | | Website | http://madridspaintinginc.com | | License Number | 1001390 | | Followers on Houzz | 46 | ## Offers Free Color Consultation! _With Any Full Interior/Exterior Project_ ## Contact - **Houzz profile:** [Madrid’s Painting](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/painters/madrids-painting-pfvwus-pf~1638876563) - **Website:** http://madridspaintinginc.com - **Phone:** (562) 818-2457 ## Credentials **Certifications & Awards** - EPA certified for RRP - mandatory in California, Lead paint is TOXIC especially for young children!!!!! - This course that all my staff must take ensures your children's safety . - **Best of Houzz:** 5 awards (2019–2023), for Service. ## Reviews **Overall rating: 5.0 out of 5 — 19 reviews** *Aspect averages:* - Work Quality: 5.0 - Communication: 5.0 - Value: 5.0 ### Reviews **★★★★★ — sroos54, Aug. 2022** > Dan and his team were a pleasure to work with, painting the interior of my home. Everything was explained in detail with a walk-through to address issues requiring attention. His crew was punctual, courteous, down to business, and finished a day ahead of schedule. Dan communicated daily with me and all went as planned. Final cleanup looked as if they had never been here and Dan completed the project with another walk-through to assure I was satisfied. 100% recommend this company for your painting needs. > > Side note - We had previously used Dan's services 10+ years ago and his work ethic and quality of work made a lasting impression on me. Unfortunately I had misplaced his card and contact info. While recovering from surgery I had the opportunity to go through some old paperwork and thankfully came upon his prior proposal! The rest is history and his business card is tucked away in a safe place!! **★★★★★ — HU-349314111, Feb. 2022** > I would highly recommend Dan to anyone in need of painting, staining, and more. He is professional in every possible way, timely, and does quality work. What's not to like? I will be calling Dan again! **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > We love great reviews! > Happy to know your experience > With us was up to par. > Thank you for the kind review. **★★★★★ — Today Danny Madrid completely transformed one, April 2021** > The best service The best prices and the highest quality from start to finish ! I am a Realtor in Orange County , Calif. I met Danny several years ago when the painter I had hired never showed up. I had 1 week to get this home ready to go and on the market. Danny and his crew worked non stop over the July 4th weekend and did a perfect job ! Since that time I have continued to only use Madrid’s Custom Painting for my home, my many listings and I have referred him to my family and friends. THE PREMIER PROFESSIONAL AND BEST. **★★★★★ — HU-613993180, Nov. 2020** > My highest recommendation! > > Timely. Fair. Quality work. > > The work was done beautifully and right on schedule. He even answered his phone every time I called! Now THAT'S impressive. > > He went above and beyond everything he promised. **★★★★★ — Karen Jung, July 2020** > I was referred to Dan by my coworker, and I'm so happy I hired him for my exterior painting job last month! He was very easy to work with -- very professional and communicative throughout the whole process. His work stands by his company motto "where quality matters". I would definitely hire him again for a paint job and highly recommend him! **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > Hi Karen, truly happy you are happy with our service. > You as well were great to work with, > Thanks again for your great review too. > Dan **★★★★★ — E. Searng, Jan. 2020** > Our experience with Dan Madrid Painting: > Dan delivers! > 1\. Timely, they completed as scheduled > 2\. Professional quality painting > 3\. Honest and Trustworthy > 4\. Competitive Pricing > 5\. Licensed contractor > > Our experience was completely positive. He painted our 4000+ sf home flawlessly. We would highly recommend Dan Madrid Painting to anyone seeking quality workmanship. > Thank You Dan! **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > Happy to be of service to you guys!! > Glad to hear you had a good experience with our Service !! **★★★★★ — HU-889537548, June 2019** > Dan and Rigo did a fantastic job on painting our whole house! They were very professional, efficient and punctual. Painting the whole interior of your home is not the easiest task but Dan made sure that our family was able to function comfortably during this whole process. The previous homeowner’s paint job was a literal nightmare (just envision: roller and brush marks everywhere done with the cheapest paint possible with not the most even walls - I know I cringed too) and I couldn’t have imagined a better outcome. They did a fantastic job, thank you gentlemen!!! If you’re looking for a painter I would not hesitate for one second to hire Dan and his crew!!! **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > Thank you for yor kind review! > Glad to be of service to you and your family. **★★★★★ — Duffy Routh, Sept. 2018** > The absolute best painter I have worked with! I am a Realtor and I could not find a painter that would even take the time to give me quote. Dan Madrid came to the property the next day, gave me an unbelievable price, worked over the 4th of July weekend and he beat the deadline promised. Dan Madrid hand rolled every wall and did hand cutting with brushes. This home was two stories with vaulted ceilings and there was not one drop of paint on the flooring or missed stroke of paint on the ceiling! Danny Madrid is one of those rare finds...a true professional and someone who exudes integrity. I sold the house in 48 hours and the fresh paint had everything to do with this successful event! **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > Thank you for your GREAT review! > We enjoy to see smiles on our customers faces upon completion. **★★★★★ — PHIL HADIJSKI, June 2018** > Dan did a great job on my home! his crew was clean and got the work done on time. would use him for future projects. **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > Thanks Phil!! > We love 5 star review, It is definitely gratifying for our team to hear that customers are pleased with our craftsmanship. **★★★★★ — Becky Elliott, April 2018** > PROFESSIONAL..THOROUGH....DEPENDABLE! Dan did a fantastic job on our house! Considering the strict budget we had to work with, the result is SO MUCH more than we'd expected. He completed the job on time and was ALWAYS considerate of our home & property. **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > HI Becky, > Thank you for a GREAT review. > It was a pleasure to work with you on your place! > Thank you in advance for keeping us in mind for your next project. **★★★★★ — Sharla Blank, April 2018** > I hired Dan to complete a full re-paint on my rental unit. He did a great job! He was quick, efficient, and educated me on the process. I'd highly recommend Dan, as his price was the most competitive and the results were fantastic. Dan provided me with a schedule ahead of time and was able to complete the job as planned which worked out perfectly. You won't be disappointed by his work. **★★★★★ — molina3124, April 2018** > Had the outside of the house along with the inside done by Dan and was extremely happy and satisfied how it came out. Dan is definitely a professional in his job and completely trustworthy. He is the only painter that I will use because not only is his work excellent I trust him and his workers in my Home which is extremely important to me **Comment from Madrid’s Painting:** > Thank you Barbara for your great review!! > > It is always a pleasure working with you and John as well as your mom. > Hope to hear from you guys soon. ## Selected projects - [Laguna beach](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/laguna-beach-pj-vj~7260816) - Location: Laguna Beach, CA - Photos: 4 - [Garden Grove repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/garden-grove-repaint-pj-vj~6817387) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - [Corona CA](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/corona-ca-pj-vj~7039278) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Aliso Viejo](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/aliso-viejo-pj-vj~7023224) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Newport Coast](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/newport-coast-pj-vj~5719437) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - [Huntington Beach repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/huntington-beach-repaint-pj-vj~5705684) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 2 - [Laguna Beach interior repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/laguna-beach-interior-repaint-pj-vj~4236680) - Location: Laguna Beach, CA - Photos: 2 - [Studio City California](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/studio-city-california-pj-vj~5963038) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Buena Park repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/buena-park-repaint-pj-vj~6817383) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Orange CA](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/orange-ca-pj-vj~6817377) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Newport Beach interior repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/newport-beach-interior-repaint-pj-vj~5962856) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 2 - [Laguna Beach kitchen Cottage](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/laguna-beach-kitchen-cottage-pj-vj~5954818) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Laguna Beach master bedroom repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/laguna-beach-master-bedroom-repaint-pj-vj~5793106) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Laguna Altura a living room repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/laguna-altura-a-living-room-repaint-pj-vj~5752325) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Ladera Ranch repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/ladera-ranch-repaint-pj-vj~5739359) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Ladera Ranch master bedroom repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/ladera-ranch-master-bedroom-repaint-pj-vj~5737916) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [La Mirada exterior office repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/la-mirada-exterior-office-repaint-pj-vj~5737911) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [La habra repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/la-habra-repaint-pj-vj~5737860) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Newport Beach California repaint](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/newport-beach-california-repaint-pj-vj~5735833) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [corona del mar](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/corona-del-mar-pj-vj~5729131) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 [See all 34 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/painters/madrids-painting-pfvwus-pf~1638876563) ## Ideabooks - [Wish List](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/103786818/list/wish-list) — 13 ideas - [Custom painting](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/122754304/list/custom-painting) — 1 idea - [dan\_madrid01's ideas](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/103786819/list/dan-madrid01-s-ideas) — 21 ideas [See all 3 ideabooks](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/users/dan-madrid01) ## Community Q&A **Q: Please vote!! Which kitchen floor should I got with?** *(in Polls)* Please help! I need to decide which kitchen floor to go with! Here are my thoughts...I have a small kitchen (150 sq. feet), with lunar pearl countertops and hickory cabinets, both installed before I moved in. New stainless steel appliances are not installed yet. The flooring really needs to be replaced and I've come up with two final choices. 1--Should I go with all black tile, either black granite or black glossy porcelain? This approach I feel would really tie in well with the lunar countertops. OR 2--Should I go with a large rectangular black tile inlay with an oak floor bordering it? I have oak floors running throughout the main floor, so this 2nd approach would have two advantages. A--It would bring the oak floor into the kitchen and would tie the main floor together. B--It would break up the black tile, which I'm thinking might be too overpowering in such a small area. What do you all think? Please vote!! A: Considering the fact that you have a small amount of square footage in your kitchen respectively. I would choose a light color that way it optically opens up your square footage. hope this is helpful --- *Source: Houzz professional profile. Reflects the profile as of 2026-11-05.*
