> We hired Evergreen Home Exteriors in December 2025 for a whole-home flooring replacement and a renovation of three bathrooms. We signed Agreement No. 2485720 on December 13, 2025. Between December 14 and February 11, 2026, we paid Evergreen $104,460.11 across five invoices.
> Work did not begin until February 10, 2026. Evergreen sent a subcontractor we had never been introduced to. The subcontractor's GC license was only five months old at the time. Evergreen's own project manager of record never set foot on our property during the job. The subcontractor had a limited understanding of the full scope of the project, and I had to walk them through the full scope.
> The subcontractor crew created three distinct water leak events during the demo. The first was on February 10, the day work started. The second was on February 17. The third was on February 22, the day we terminated.
> On February 21, 2026, our six-year-old daughter was injured by construction staples that the crew left on the upstairs hallway floor the day before. No end-of-day cleanup had been performed. We notified Evergreen the same day. We received silence in response.
> We terminated for cause on February 22, 2026.
> We hired a replacement contractor to assess what had been delivered. Their written findings and photos included staining consistent with mold on the master bedroom subfloor that the crew had covered over with LVP rather than address, unprepped subfloor across the installed flooring areas, debris left under the cork underlayment, and an unrepaired hole in the subfloor. The flooring had been so poorly installed that it had to be fully torn out and redone.
> We later learned Evergreen had paid the subcontractor $3,500 against a $16,000 agreed subcontract for the work performed on our home.
> Before any of this surfaced, we received written accounting reconciliations from Evergreen that contained visible AI prompt instructions left embedded in the document. Evergreen used AI to fabricate a reconciliation that the owner used to show that not only did he not owe us any money back, but we owed him $217. In essence, he was trying to justify keeping over $100k of our money, even though the only thing that was close to being completed was the upstairs flooring which we found out later had to be completely redone.  Analysis of the reconciliation emails showed that there was a 97%-99% probability of being fully AI generated.
> Evergreen's pattern in response to honest public reviews is not to address the complaint. It is to reply with personal attacks on the reviewer and threats to publicly post photos of the homeowner's home that they were not authorized to share.
> If you are a homeowner considering Evergreen for a major renovation, look closely at who will actually be on your property, the age of the LLC doing the work, or whether the project manager has ever been onsite. There are much better options out there that will live up to what their websites say.

> Evergreen Windows, LLC has engaged in unprofessional and contractional disputes to their current contract with what their represented by miss representation of their work / project scope they would perform.  As they sub-contracted with lowest bidder, the work is subpar.   Then with contradictory communication of their scope of work and responsibility their representatives / sales stated on what work they will perform vs contradictory fine print in contract.  I am still dealing with Evergreen and their representatives for over a year to get the job completed ( including issues their sub-contractors) .  Using Evergreen was a big mistake.   I would never recommend them to anyone.
