I was in my third trimester of pregnancy and feeling very stressed about taking on such a big and potentially expensive project before the baby was due. I had a lot of questions and Dillon answered them all promptly and thoroughly. Dillon came by the house to assess the floors and talk about the project. I pointed out some concerns, like areas that may need new boards, and quarter round trim missing from two rooms. Dillon assured me that he could install boards with the closest possible wood to match the existing floor, and replace the missing quarter round. He also offered to install transition pieces into the bathroom and kitchen, to pull up many of the extraneous nails and screws and fill the holes, and fill in other imperfections in the wood. Dillon promptly sent over an estimate and an agreement for early August. Dillon's timeline was exactly as quoted, so we knew just what to expect while he completed his work. He hung plastic to keep sawdust out of the kitchen (and keep our cat from entering the work zone!) Our floors look beautiful; the transformation was truly so amazing to see. The area where boards were replaced looks just like the original floor. I feel the price we paid for amazing floors was very fair! Dillon's communication was very polite and professional. Dillion is a true craftsman. He is also returns calls and emails very promptly and he is extremely patient. I thought I wanted to stain the floors and Dillion applied several stain options and waited patiently while I agonized for 45 minutes. He was very kind and did not offer his opinion until the very end.
