**Comment from Stoneshop:**

**★★★★★ — Mike Spegel, Nov. 2017**

> I worked with Alyssa and she was very helpful in picking colors and designs for our kitchen backsplash and countertop. I would say working with the stoneshop was the easiest step in the entire kitchen. It seemed like everything else had something go wrong, but he countertop went perfectly.

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you so much for the kind words, Mike! It was a pleasure working with you and your family. We are so happy to hear that you are enjoying your new granite countertops and tile backsplash. Your kitchen is beautiful!

> We recently remodeled our master bathroom. We were very pleased with the service and the quality of the products we selected from the Stoneshop. They excelled both in customer service and in the quality of the product. The management team at the Stoneshop assisted us in selecting the proper counter tops and edging, and the installment was perfect. They showed up on time for appointments and clearly put the customer first. We will definitely use them in the future.

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you so much for your sweet review, Amber! We were honored to assist you with your master bathroom project, & we are thrilled to hear that you are satisfied with your purchase. We hope that you will enjoy this space for years to come!

**★★★★★ — Pat Tomasetti, Oct. 2017**

> I am thrilled with the recent granite countertop installation from The StoneShop. Sheri, thank you so much for your assistance in helping me select the perfect granite to compliment my kitchen cabinets and stainless steel appliances. I originally planned to upgrade my kitchen in order to put my house up for sale. However since the installation I am not so sure I want to sell my house! Thanks to everyone at The StoneShop for their assistance and craftsmanship. Special thanks to Sheri, Sheryl, Richard, Pat and the Crew for such a fantastic job!

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you so much for your kind review, Pat! We are so happy to hear that you are thrilled with your new countertops. You are a sweetheart and were such a pleasure to work with. Also, thanks so much for spoiling us with your delicious cookies! We hope that you will enjoy your new countertops for as long as you decide to stay in your home!

**★★★★★ — Jeffrey Herdeg, Sept. 2017**

> Extremely please. Everyone we worked with was extremely professional and very helpful! We had been concerned about the seams in the island and counters but knew that we were dealing with the best in the area and they are virtually invisible. We get so many compliments on the leather texture of the Dolce Vita. Everyone loves to run their hands across the surface as it is such a warm and inviting texture. They were great in working with us to use up most of the remnants from the slabs. We used the same stone to to cap the surrounding half walls to really pull the room together. No job is to small as they have already done our new laundry room and are now moving on to our kids bathroom! We would recommend them without hesitation.

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thanks so very much for your sweet words, Jeff! We thoroughly enjoyed working with you and Mary, and we are so happy to hear that you love your new kitchen and laundry room! We trust that you will enjoy it for years to come, and host many guests that will gather around that gorgeous island of yours!

> I’m sure you have read many complementary reviews of the Stoneshop. Mine is a little different. You see it’s easy to write a good review when everything goes as planned, but it’s when a problem arises you find out how good a company really is. Let me assure you that the Stoneshop rises to the challenge.
>
> Okay let’s start off with the basics. The showroom staff are both well informed and courteous. They will help you every step of the way to get what you want and not what most other shops would try to sell you. From the very beginning of the process I felt comfortable with the choices I was making and the staff were mindful that the costs were in my budget.
>
> The installation staff were knowledgeable and also extremely courteous. They took great care of my kitchen during instillation and answered every question I asked. They did the job in a timely fashion and made sure the littlest details were taken care of.
>
> My Granite counters were installed first and the quality was exceptional. Several of my friends thought I payed much more than I did because of how great the job looked. I’ve had them a while now and I still marvel how wonderful they are. Next came the backsplash and it complimented the countertops so well and again the work was done in a timely fashion.
>
> It’s with the installation of the backsplash we ran into a problem with the application of the grout. It was not that it was done incorrectly it was just that it was done in a way that I didn’t expect. I had a definite look in mind that I thought we were both on the same page about but due to no fault of The Stoneshop there was miscommunication. I called it to the attention of the installer and as he proceeded he did his best to give me what I wanted.
>
> When the job was finished 80% of it looked fine but there was this one section where I first noticed the problem that just stood out to me. Now let me remind you, it’s not that it was done wrong but it wasn’t what I had envisioned. It just really bothered me and after awhile I called the shop and said I had a problem. I explained my situation and was told I would get a call back. I thought, oh sure I’ll get a call back. The next day I heard from the owner Richard. We discussed the issue and by the end of the week someone was at my house trying to fix it. Unfortunately the grout had dried to the point that there was nothing that would change it’s appearance. Several attempts were made to make the section how I wanted but they just weren’t working.
>
> At this point Richard himself came to the house and talked with me about what needed to be done. He said repeatedly through the process, “What do we need to do to make you happy.” Then I came to the conclusion that what would really make me happy was going to be a lot of work for The Stoneshop. I told Richard the bad news and he looked me in the eye and said, “Well that’s what we will do.” I replied, “At what cost to me?” He looked shocked and a little taken aback and said, “I would never do that to a customer. That’s not how I do business.”
>
> True to his word the work was done and I was made happy. I was given exactly what I wanted with no hidden cost. It’s not often that you will find a company that will have such a policy. Integrity is in short supply it seems these day but not at the Stoneshop. There motto is they want you to be happy...and they back it up. I don’t know about you but I sure as hell was impressed.

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you so much for your sweet words, James! Customer satisfaction is our top priority, so we are happy to hear that we were able to rectify the situation and give you the look that you wanted. We hope that you are enjoying your updated kitchen!

**★★★★★ — Gerard Chambers, Sept. 2017**

> Every one was extremely helpful and professional ,they went above the typical salesperson.
> Prices were very competitive for the fine quality products I used
> Highly recommend them

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thanks so much for your sweet words, Jerry! You were a pleasure to work with, and we are so happy to hear that you had an enjoyable and productive experience!

**★ — Steve Customer, June 2017**

> Update : Not a good overall experience for us yet but sales person was helpful. We are waiting on a resolution to our issues w fabrication and install that our gc has assured us will occur.

**★★★★★ — Richard Wood, Jan. 2017**

> Richard, at the Stone Shop was great in helping us decide what type of countertop would make my wife happy. We decided that a quartz countertop was exactly what she was looking for. The first thing you notice is how friendly and professional Richard and his staff are. I knew I picked the right place to do business. The installers were excellent. They were clean, great craftsman and spent extra time answering all my questions. I can be somewhat anal in asking too many questions. I would definitely go back to the stone shop for any future projects and have and will recommend them to my friends

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you so much for your sweet words, Richard! We are so happy to hear that you had a pleasant experience and are enjoying your new countertops. Recommending us to family and friends is the highest compliment that we could receive!

**★★★★★ — R Fusco, Dec. 2016**

> The stone countertop installation is incredible! And, looks absolutely beautiful, and perfectly blended with the cabinetry. The workmanship was perfect! Our experience with the Stone Shop was above and beyond expectation! We were most pleased; we would definitely return for future projects, and would highly recommend to all our friends and family.

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you for the sweet words! Referring us to your friends and family is the highest compliment that we could receive, so that really means so much. Thanks again and enjoy your new kitchen!

**★★★★★ — Mary Russo, Oct. 2016**

> This is my second project with Stone Shop. I returned to the same professional for her expert guidance and advise and continued dedicated attention to my project.

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you so much for the sweet review, Mary! Repeat customers are our favorite! We hope that you are enjoying your new kitchen!

**★★★★★ — eugeniajkim, Oct. 2016**

> This is my 2nd time working with Stoneshop and my experience was again excellent. I urgently needed a replacement granite for a kitchen island. I found a perfect piece of granite with the help of my salesperson Alyssa. Their customer service is five star - I had concern regarding the cutting of the island cabinetry to fit a new larger stovetop I bought, and after relaying my concerns, they came out within a few days to do both templating AND removal of the old granite top (which they told me they usually do on installation day) which really made the experience worry-free. My final product is amazing, completed in a very timely fashion, and the price for the stone was very reasonable compared to other stores I had researched last year. The sales-staff, manager Richard, and installation team are very accessible, and worked with me and my husband to make this process smooth and painless. I am very happy with the entire experience and my beautiful new island kitchen - I have no intention to look elsewhere for future renovations.

**Comment from Stoneshop:**

> Thank you for your sweet words, Eugenia! We love repeat customers and are happy to hear that you had an enjoyable experience. We pride ourselves on customer service and quality, so hearing kind remarks such as this makes our day! Thanks again and we hope to work with you some more in the future!

A: Hi Loretta,
I am so sorry, but we do not have the pendant light information. We were only responsible for the countertops and backsplash in this project. **Q: Which Quartz Used** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you share which quartz was used on the countertop please?

A: Hi Debi,
The quartz used in this kitchen is "Statuario Venato" from Quartzmaster. This was installed back in 2015, so the pattern may look slightly different now. Best of luck with your project!

**Q: Can you give me the details on this floor?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Linda,
Unfortunately, we were only responsible for the countertops in this project, so I do not have the information on this flooring. It's a beautiful Versaille pattern installation, but I am not sure if it is real travertine tile or a porcelain imitation. So sorry!

**Q: White Paint** *(in Photo Questions)*

What BM white paint would you recommend for the cabinets please?

A: Hi Elizabeth,
Unfortunately, we were only responsible for the quartz countertops in this project. The homeowner supplied the cabinetry themselves. So sorry! Best of luck with your project!

**Q: What floor will go best with my granite countertops?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are building a new house and I'm currently making decisions for the kitchen. We are going to have a kitchen that is open to our great room. The flooring will be the same throughout. We have chosen espresso cabinets for our lower cabinets an island, and white cabinets for the uppers. My countertops will be moon white granite. We are going to have wood laminate floors, but I can't decide which color matches this. The granite is what is throwing me off.

Our flooring choices are limited. Here are the links to those. https://www.mohawkflooring.com/laminate-search/Bourbon%20Mill/Nutmeg%20Chestnut

My wall color is agreeable gray from sherwin williams. Here is what I'm thinking so far:

My favorite is the Nutmeg Chestnut, but I'm afraid that it has too much movement when combined with the countertops. The above is Cheyenne Rock Oak. I'm open to ideas other than this. Please let me know what you might do. Thanks.

A: The Nutmeg Chestnut is gorgeous and has great character! Personally, I do not think that it will be too busy in your space because the Moon White granite has a fairly repetitive pattern which creates a more uniform appearance. I would go for it!

**Q: Backsplash Dilemma** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I posted this earlier, but now I’m trying to post in Kitchen Forum. I hope I’m posting this in the correct forum where someone can possibly shed some ideas on my backsplash issue. Hubby and I are almost finished with our kitchen remodel. I love everything, but I think I goofed on the backsplash. I don’t think it works with our Solarius Granite countertop. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to create harmony with these two elements. Removing the backsplash isn’t an option. Thanks in advance for any ideas on my dilemma

A: Your kitchen looks beautiful! However, I agree that your backsplash tile is too dark and busy with the gorgeous Solarius granite. Unfortunately, the only way around this issue is removing the backsplash tile and replacing it with something else. To my knowledge, you usually cannot tile over top of existing wall tile--that is generally only sometimes possible with floor tile. I suggest living with it for a little while to see how you still feel about it a few months from now. If you still do not like, you will need to remove it and put up a new backsplash tile instead. Best of luck!
