**★★★★★ — goballstate, April 2016**

> We hired Joseph Lese to draw up plans for a portico for our brick colonial. He was absolutely one of the best people we have ever worked with on a project for our home. He really listened to get a feel for the details we were looking for and offered great suggestions and opinions to help make all of the details just right. He responded quickly and was incredibly patient and kind any time I contacted him. We will definitely work with him again when we add a sunroom. When I came up with an idea to expand our front walk and texted him a sketch I had come up with, he sent me plans with dimensions for the walk to give to our contractor within a couple of days. Joseph definitely goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy.

**Comment from Joseph Lese, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP:**

**★★★★★ — sarah3poynter, Oct. 2015**

> Joseph Lese was a great addition to our building process. When we first met he took our initial plans and was able to add great ideas to help make the most of our space. He worked in a professional and timely manner. He was available through out the entire process and was always quick to respond with questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an architect!

## Community Q&A

**Q: What brand is the tV cabinet?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It's IKEA Besta I believe.

**Q: what color is the wall and floor?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The walls are fairly close to Sherwin-Williams SW7648 Big Chill. The floor is polished natural concrete.

**Q: How many in a set** *(in Product Questions)*

What does 24 ct mean

A: There would be 24 of an item in the package/order (in this case, 24 glasses).

**Q: need help with our small space** *(in Design Dilemma)*

HI, I emaled before but wasn't very descriptive. Here are a few photos. I hope they do enough to explain our space. We just moved in and our kitchen is also our living room. What do we need to do to make the space look open and what type of furniture fits this space. The building is contemporary. I would like a little modern rustic feel brought in but unsure how to do so.. So what should we do with this space? We plan to get new furniture. We will be using this space as a sitting area and dinning area. Thank you.

A: You could potentially rotate the table/stools so it's aligned with the kitchen in a linear fashion, and flip the orientation of the couch so it faces the wall. At the wall you could do a media center or bookshelf, depending on your interests, and hang a mirror or wall art above. In the corner, you could do a chair with a floor lamp behind. I have an example of the orientation that could be similar on my page:

Furniture-wise, for a rustic modern look I refer to places such as West Elm, Room & Board, Crate & Barrel, or Restoration Hardware for inspiration and defining a look before sending clients out to shop at local furniture stores.

Hope this helps - best of luck.
Joseph

**Q: Brick colour?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Lovely home. What is the brick colour?

A: The house had painted brick, and during the restoration was tuckpointed and re-painted. The brick color is Sherwin Williams "Tony Taupe" (SW7038). The stone is natural limestone. Thank you for your question.

**Q: Contemporary metal beds** *(in Design Dilemma)*

If anyone can recommend contemporary styled silver metal King-size beds, please send me the manufacturer or links. There are so few options.

A: I like a couple products that Room and Board Have. Here's one example (look for the silver one).
