She turned our small sunroom into a space that seems to melt into the outdoors and, thanks to the versatile furniture designed specifically for our space, can seat up to eight in an 11'x11' area that has thee walls of windows, a large screen TV, and a wide entrance. For our son, who deals with seasonal affective disorder, she did considerable research to create a light, bright room to accommodate his needs. In addition, she brought new life and serenity to other bedrooms and living spaces. Currently, she is working on our beach home and is helping us with a completely different feel there -- colorful and fun. On top of this, Michelle's patient, businesslike, and gracious manner are unique in her industry. She is incredibly organized - she prepared a binder of all the furnishings, materials, colors, etc. with prices so that we knew what we were getting and there were no surprises. She had many of the furnishings built locally, which we appreciated. When there were aspects that we were not happy with (e.g., some of the lighting), she quickly switched them out. We were so happy with her service, we had her help us with the design for our new boat as well. I was on a tight schedule to begin work shortly after moving in. She was extremely attentive and finished my entire project in approx. 4 weeks (furniture lead time included). I called several interior designers to take a look at the house and provide proposals. Michelle was the only one to show up with a team of professionals (flooring contractor, painter, and a general contractor), who had all worked with Michelle in the past and knew exactly what she wanted. The general contractor, Mike, who I am still using to do various projects, was awesome and does amazing work. Michelle finished my house almost 1 month ago and I am still amazed every time I walk into the front door. Everyone I bring to the place can tell that there is no way I designed it, haha. Michelle jokes with me saying, I made it easy on her by letting her pick out all the colors and styles solely based on her perceptions of my style preferences when meeting with me. Thank you and happy holidays :) A: Yes, there is a fan in the room it is a very small one as the ceiling is sloped & there is not a lot of height. The fan is white so as to blend in with the ceiling not drawing attention away from the room.
