For the past 18 years Jill has used her talents providing personalized design services to her clients.  Jill received her degree in Interior Design from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), San Francisco.  Immediately after FIDM, Jill was a designer for a leading Bay Area kitchen and bath firm.   From there she went on to be a buyer and interior designer for a local home furnishings company.  For the past 13 years she has been the owner for Sweet Magnolia, a favorite Danville home boutique specializing in French antiques and all things unique.  All the while, growing her reputation as a talented designer, Jill is now committed full time to her own design firm, Jill Cox Interiors.

> We recently hired Jill to help us with our kitchen remodel.  She helped update our kitchen to be more modern and functional.  She had such great ideas that we never would have thought of on our own.  She has an amazing eye for color, she helped us select paint and cabinet color as well as stone for our counter tops and back splash. We also used her help in selecting a new sink and fixtures, new lighting, stools and a kitchen table.  She did a wonderful job of listening to what we were looking for and nailing it she brought us her design ideas.  We loved everything she selected.  The project has expanded into two new fireplace she designed that are currently being installed.  She is an extremely talented designer and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Jill helped with paint color selections, furnishings, window coverings and accessories throughout.   Jill has a great eye for detail.  She really listens to her clients first to understand the look they want to achieve.   She is very good about giving you different options, but doesn’t push you into one option over the other, she really allows you to think through the design process with her.  It also really helps that she has a store in downtown Danville where she allows for 24 hour approval so you can try out the different items in your home.  This is a huge benefit as you are going through the design process with her.

> I initially hired Jill to redo our living room.  At the beginning, I gave her pictures of spaces that represented my ideal design aesthetic.  From there, Jill created a design for our living room that incorporated the look I loved within the budget I had set.  I was so happy with the results of our living room project, that I asked her to help me with our family room. Now, more than 6 years later, Jill has helped me transform every room in our home.  What I most appreciate about Jill is her patience, her skill with color and proportions, her understanding of my likes/dislikes and how she is completely unflappable.  I also appreciate how she tailors her relationship with her clients in a way that best suits her client's needs.  In other words, I like to hunt for special pieces for my home and Jill often consults with me on what will look best.  However, I know that some of her clients prefer that she select nearly everything.  It is clear that Jill is comfortable working with clients in whatever way they most enjoy.  She is a true talent and a joy to work with.

A: Yes, it is an Aga stove.  You can learn more about them on their website www.agamarvel.com.
It is my client's favorite thing in her kitchen.  She loves it and would choose it again in a heartbeat.
