Did you use a stain on the wood for the wall? Or is it just clear? Or both?

A: The wood wall and the wood cabinets are finished the same. Fuming is a  Chemical process that takes some of the yellow out of the oak, and puts taupe coloration into it. It needs to be done by a professional woodworker.

A: Hello, The fireplace façade is thin steel sheeting with a custom patina applied by a local craftsman.

A: it is a long and narrow space - about 8'-2" x 3'-7", which includes a cutout area for a spiral stair (shown in foreground)
