### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Bob, March 2025**

> Wow, were we fortunate to have selected Jenny as our architect! Of course, we did the usual due diligence interviewing several architects and were confident that Jenny was the best but we had no idea of just how good she really is. Jenny incorporated virtually every item on our lengthy wishlist into a beautiful design that has perfect functionality. She had amazing patience and attention to detail that resulted in us building the home of our dreams. And she was also wonderful in helping us navigate the challenges of working with our town’s historical review committee. She even helped us find a great builder after our relationship with a prior builder fell apart. Jenny has essentially become a close friend and we look forward to sharing many special moments with her in the years ahead.

**Comment from ArchiPlicity, LLC:**

> Bob;
> Thank you so much for the wonderful review. You were both so easy to work with and just wonderful people. I have enjoyed the time we spent working on the project and I look forward to the time we will spend together in the future!

**★★★★★ — Jim DiGiorgio, Aug. 2024**

> We commissioned ArchiPlicity to design a custom home on the water in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The lot topography, our desire for one-floor living and our goal to design an “age-in-place” forever home presented a number challenges. Starting with a clean sheet, Jennifer incorporated our list of wants and over the course of 20 months worked with us to continue to refine our home - offering invaluable advice on every element of the design. As we were remote, she coordinated Zoom meetings in which we continued to update and modify the plans. Jennifer’s knowledge of state and local building codes and technical expertise resulted in construction documents that our builder was extremely pleased with - resulting in a painless build process for us. Throughout the entire process, Jen was sensitive to our preferences, listened well and a joy to work with. We highly recommend you consider ArchiPlicity for your project!

**Comment from ArchiPlicity, LLC:**

> Jim, Thank you so much for the review. I loved working with you both. You made it a wonderful experience for me as well!

**★★★★★ — joycmills, June 2024**

> We have only great things to say about partnering with Jennifer and ArchiPlicity on our kitchen remodel. Jenny is an excellent architect - very knowledgeable, creative, flexible, good communicator, and very easy to work with. Jenny was very sensitive to our desire to preserve the antique character of our 1853 home, while making it work for modern life. Jenny worked with our town boards and went before our Historical Commission on our behalf. We felt she "had our back" throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend ArchiPlicity.

**Comment from ArchiPlicity, LLC:**

> Thank you Joy! You both were so easy to work with you made the process enjoyable!

**Comment from ArchiPlicity, LLC:**

> Thank you Lynne! We have loved working with you too!

> Can not say enough about our experience with Jenny at ArchiPlicity. From the first meeting with her she listened and guided us through the design process. The end product was outstanding and was everything we had asked for and more. She was always available for any questions during the building phase of our project. Highly recommend Jenny and ArchiPlicity for your new home or addition.

> I highly recommend ArchiPlicity, LLC for your home project. I can not speak highly enough of Jennifer and her outstanding follow through and attention to commitments and time lines. I have been in project management for over 40 years. Every project is a function of the communication of the team and I have always prided myself on my communication style. It was so nice to finally work with someone that could match my communication ability. As the client for my own project, Jenn's style and follow up was impeccable. And the design of the second floor to our little beach house adds so much character to our dream house. I highly recommend this firm and encourage everyone to give them an opportunity. Huge kudos to ArchiPlicity. Gary G.

> We recently completed the renovation of our two family New England house. Jennifer Birnstiel from Archiplicity was our architect. We redid the floors, windows, changed room layouts, removed some walls and much more, including new mechanical systems. Jennifer is creative and has a keen esthetic eye. She was also very efficient and accurate with her drawings. She understood all the technical and structural issues well and how they interplayed with one another. She did the electrical plans. She helped us choose materials, colors and lightning. She was very punctual and always prompt in her communications. She took a lot of responsibility in supervision and earned the trust and admiration of all our contractors. We very much enjoyed working with Jennifer. Our average house changed into a very beautiful place with character. We would whole heartedly recommend Archiplicity.

**★★★★★ — Ken and Joy Foraste, Nov. 2020**

> We hired Jennifer to design a new garage and bedroom for our historic home. She did a great job from start to finish! Beautiful design, working with town to gain approval and communicating closely with our builder to ensure all our expectations were met. We could not recommend her highly enough.

**Comment from ArchiPlicity, LLC:**

> Thank you Ken & Joy! You were both great clients to work with and you made the process easy and enjoyable!

**★★★★★ — Sandra Richter, Nov. 2020**

> I can’t say enough about ArchiPlicity and Jenny’s talents when it comes to unlocking a home’s potential. Her work reconfiguring to open up my 1971 expanded ranch when I first moved in 6 years ago helped me create the home I knew it could become. She gave me the confidence to do another renovation with her help, raising the roof for a remarkable loft addition this year. Thanks to her talents, we reimagined a simple ranch as a Cape Cod cottage style home. There were a few complicated issues but she found the right design elements to make it all work. The one thing that doesn’t amaze me is the number of stunned comments I hear from my neighbors who can’t believe how perfect the “new” home looks. I wouldn’t ask anyone else to make this vision real for my home.

**Comment from ArchiPlicity, LLC:**

> Sandy; Thank you very much fro you kind words. I have enjoyed working on both projects with you and I can't wait to see the finished product!

**★★★★★ — Caroline Goodman, April 2020**

> We have just completed our project in Mashpee. From the first meeting Jenny has been very professional, listened to our wishes and needs, and made thoughtful and creative suggestions. Through the design period and supervision of the construction she has been easy to work with and always available. This was a long distance project for us and it was reassuring to have her supervise and visit the site during construction and keep us up to date with the progress. We are happy to give our highest recommendation to Archiplicity.

**Comment from ArchiPlicity, LLC:**

> Thank you! I loved working on your project with both of you! I hope you are doing well and staying safe.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Manufacturer of island pendants?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Manufacturer of the island pendant lighting!

A: I am not sure of teh exact manufacturer. This is a link to a similar pendant on ylighting. We have had good luck purchasing fistures from them although I cannot speak to this particular fixture. https://www.ylighting.com/darlana-lantern-pendant-light-by-visual-comfort-VISP157763.html?cgid=YLLIG3&dwvar\_VISP157763\_AttrValue1=Polished%20Nickel&dwvar\_VISP157763\_AttrValue2=Small\#prefn1=ProductCategoryPath&prefv1=Medium%20%2B%20Large%20Pendant%20Lights&tileIndex=14

**Q: wood floor width** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please tell me the width of the planks used in this wooden floor?

A: The client selected the finish themselves so I am not exactly sure what their choice was.

**Q: What is the desktop surface made out of?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I like the top, but would be afraid of using a stone or quartz product since it may be too cold. Mike

A: The desktop surface is quartz I believe. It is a summer house so the coldness is not an issue there. There may be another manufactured countertop to consider. There are sustainable countertops made from recycled plastic that could be warmer and have similar look. There is also still corian which is a solid surface an may be warmer.

**Q: dimensions of the pool please** *(in Photo Questions)*

Dimensions

A: Thank you for your question. The pool is 40'-0" x 25'-0". The spa at the end is 10' x 13' from outside to outside. The interior of the spa is 7'x10'

**Q: Fantastic entry door!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Details on door please. Is it wood or fiberglass?

A: Thank you! The entry door is a Simpson door nantucket series wood door https://www.simpsondoor.com/find-a-door/default.aspx?view=detail&doorType=&BaseSpecificationID=3050&seriesID=28\#DoorDetail
with matching sidelights https://www.simpsondoor.com/find-a-door/default.aspx?view=detail&doorType=Exterior&BaseSpecificationID=3058&architecturalGroup=\#DoorDetail
The door is painted. Thermatru may have a less expensive fiberglass option with a similar look. Their doors are also able to be painted. If it is an exposed location his would work well.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the isalnd?** *(in Photo Questions)*

love the island.

A: Thank you! I am happy that you like it. The Island is approximately 7'-0" x 5'-0". 7'-0 on the side showing the wall oven. These are approximate dimensions. The kitchen designer may have adjusted it slightly from the design plan.
