I looked at Mid-atlantic, Ryan, NV Homes (still Ryan), Toll Brothers, K&P, Caruso... And a few other builders. > This builder offered the most flexibility with customizations. We wanted a Mother-In law suite and maximum square footage throughout the house. > They did not overcharge for the customizations... very fair with cost... of course the cost were padded a little-- as they need to make a profit. > The builder was not pushy... we stated what we wanted in a home and the representative (Jim Erb) stated that he felt we would enjoy the largest home they had to offer at the Beechtree neighborhood. We looked at the model and fell in love with the Ashley. This home already offered the option of having two huge sunrooms. > I am VERY VERY picky when it comes to how I want my house, Jim took very good care of us- if an option was going to be too pricey or not look that well, he was honest and told us. > > Because we asked for so many customized options, we had a meeting with the construction manager and several time during the per-construction phase, we had phone conversations with the VP of Construction.
